The Turkish PUBG Mobile esports scene witnessed another pro league come to an end. The PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL) Turkey Spring 2022 ended with Fastpay Wildcats emerging as the champion. With 227 points and 4 chicken dinners in their bag, the team sits on the throne of pro league Turkey. Sitting 37 points behind, Kaos Next Rüya became the runner-up while the third place went to the Beşiktaş Esports.
PMPL Turkey Spring 2022: Fastpay Wildcats’ journey to the trophy
The grand finals opened its cover on April 29. The first chicken dinner went to Surreal Esports followed by the champion team. After the end of the day, Surreal Esports topped the table with a total of 80 points. The champion Fastpay stayed the next.
Fastpay Wildcats faced some seatbacks the next day as the team couldn’t perform well. Beşiktaş Esports climbed to the top showing a dominant gun power and managed to accumulate 158 points. First-day topper Surreal splashed from the top five and became seventh.
On the final day of the event, the champion team was unstoppable. Making all the other teams their subjects, they gathered a whopping 105 points and 2 WWCDs that day. Thus, the team became the champion.
The participants received a fair share of the prize money
Being the champion, Fastpay Wildcats bagged a handsome amount of $13,500. The runner-up, Kaos Next Rüya gathered a total of $16,000 after the end of the event, while the third-placed team Beşiktaş Esports grabbed $500 less.
Before the finals, 20 teams joined the event for being the champion of Turkey. After three regular weeks and super weekends, the top 16 advanced to the grand finals. Finally, the top 8 teams on the point table qualified for the regional championship, the PMPL European Championship Spring 2022.
