Free Fire Arab League Season 5: Teams, format, prize pool, and more

The 2022 competitive season of Free Fire esports has begun already and now the regional qualifiers are preparing to be held. Being a region, MENA is no exception, thus, the Free Fire Arab League Season 5 is ready to be staged with the best teams from the region. The event is not only for achieving the title of the regional champion, rather a chance to represent MENA on the world stage as it will send teams to the grand event, Free Fire World Series 2022 Sentosa.

Free Fire Arab League Season 5: Event schedule and Format

The tournament will start with League Stage from February 4 to March 12. In this period, there will be six weeks of league play where each week consists of two days. All the 24 teams, split into four groups of six teams in each, will battle out in 36 matches across three maps for the next stage. The six group champions will qualify for the grand finals as well as a seat in the next installment of the event while the 2nd and 3rd placed team will enter Playoffs, starting on March 25, 2022. The top 6 from the playoffs stage will join the six group champions in the Grand Finals on April 1, 2022.

Participanting teams

A total of 24 teams will fight for the trophy. Half of the teams are invited from the previous installment of this event while the rest 12 are from the Arab Championship Season 2. The participant teams are as follows.

Prize pool

The event offers a decent amount that is $60,000 as a prize pool. The winner will directly qualify for the World Series 2022 Sentosa Finals while the runner-up will take a seat in the Play-ins.

However, teams will be looking to perform their best to grab a share of the prize money. But mostly, the event will showcase the best team after it ends. So, fans will get to witness an exciting event.
