FFAA 2020 will be divided into two events
The Free Fire Asia All-Stars (FFAA) 2020 will be divided into two separate events. First will be the Influencer All-Stars on June 12 followed by the Professional or Pros All-Stars on June 13.
The Influencer All-Stars of FFAA 2020 will start with 12 teams competing for the prize pool of $30,000. There will be 3 teams each from the 4 regions, namely, India, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam. Each team will have a combination of influencers and pros. The 3 teams representing India will be all-streamer teams. The voting for Favourite Streamers has already started and you can vote here.
After the Influencer All-Stars gets completed, FFAA 2020 will have the top professional teams from the 4 regions. The Pros All-Stars will feature the top 3 teams from each of the participating regions and compete for the prize pool of $50,000. Again, for India, the invitations will be extended to the top finishers at the previously-held Scrim Wars.
Free Fire Asia All-Stars (FFAA) 2020 Format
The tournament format for both the Influencer and Professional All-Stars will be the same. The teams will compete against each other in 6 rounds, across 3 maps: Bermuda, Purgatory, and Kalahari.
According to the official announcement, points will be awarded based on round ranking and number of kills. The teams will get 20 points for winning the round and 2 points for each kill. At the end of each day (June 12 and June 13) the winning team will be announced. The 4 regions will also be ranked based on points earned by their teams and at the end of FFAA 2020.
