After a week of battle across the maps of Free Fire, the regional championship of Europe, MENA and CIS namely the Free Fire EMEA Invitational 2021 ended last night, with Russian team Trident Clan emerging as the winner and also picking up their very first major trophy home. The team managed to lift the trophy by leaving teams like Natus Vincere, Vasto Mundo, and Silence behind.

Trident started the finals with 5 head start points where Silence had 7. But The champion team picked up a BOOYAH in the initial round of the grand finals along with 7 kills. The next match went wrong and they finished the match being the last.
The team, however, made a great turn back and showed consistency in the next matches. But the surprise was yet to come as Trident took the last round with another BOOYAH and a massive 17 kills, securing the trophy for the team. After all the rounds, Trident won the trophy with 46 kills and 99 position points. Europe Pro League Season 3 champion Vasto Mundo took the second position with a total of 88 points and NAVI finished being the third.
The event featured a massive $200K prize pool. Being the champion, Trident Clan has got a share of $50,000. Moreover, the runner-up team, Vasto Mundo got $30,000, and the third-placed team, NAVI has taken $25,000 home. NeZa1s from the champion team became of MVP of the event.
EMEA Invitational 2021 is the regional event that will replace the World Series. Invited are the best teams from Europe, MENA, and CIS. Organized by Garena, the online event featured 12 teams. Trident, winning the first major, proved themselves as an upcoming hot favorite in the next events.
