Free Fire is on the verge of closing the veil of its 2024 esports year. As the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) Global Finals 2024 takes place, the roadmap set at the beginning of this year is coming to meet its end. The grand event of Free Fire Esports will crown the best team from the toughest contenders. Besides, the event winner will receive a huge amount of cash.
FFWS Global Finals 2024: Schedule and Format
The event kicked off on November 8, 2024, with 18 participants. However, the main stage, as we know it, clicks after the first phase, which is the Knockout Stage. After that, the Point Rush stage will take place. Finally, the main attraction, the Grand Finals, will unveil itself.

The Knockout stage will feature 18 teams. Divided into 6 teams of 3 groups, the teams played for two weeks, and the top 12 reached the next phase to fight for the Grand Finals.
The Point Rush will kick off with 12 teams, and they will play for 12 matches. In the two-day runtime, each day will feature 6 games. Later, the Grand Final will be of 6 games only, featuring the same 12 participants.

As said before, 18 teams will participate in the event. however, the grand finals will only feature 12 teams. The teams are chosen from regional grand events such as FFWS SEA Fall 2024, Esports World Cup, FFWS Brazil 2024, FFWS Pakistan 2024, FFWS Middle East & Africa 2024, and FFWS LATAM 2024 Points.

Prize Pool
The event will feature a huge stack of cash as the prize pool. A total of $1,000,000 will be awarded to the teams. Based on their overall standings, the teams will receive cash respectively. The complete breakdown of the prize pool is given below:

Fluxo is the champion of FFWS Global Finals 2024
Fluxo secured the championship and won the title after collecting a total of 86 points. RRQ became the runner-up of the event just 3 points away from the champion. On the way to winning the event, the team topped in three matches among the 6 and got a good grab in kills as well. Thus, they managed to smile at last.
Bops was the MVP of the Finals and was awarded $10,000. Wassana received the overall MVP and received $10,000. Apart from that, Joena won the Predator award and pocketed $5,000.
