Samsung and Supercell Games have announced a new esports tournament series, Galaxy Battles: Superverse. This tournament will bring together community members and content creators to team up and compete in an open bracket tournament for a prize pool of $100,000 cash and exclusive Samsung Galaxy devices across Supercell titles; Clash of Clans, Brawl Stars, and Clash Royale.
This is the first time these 3 titles will be together in one event. Players can compete in any of the 3 qualifiers that will be held over 6 weeks and secure their place in the Superverse Grand Finals that will be held on September 30. The tournament has a total of 24 spots up for grabs.
Galaxy Battles: Superverse 2023: Schedule and Format
The event begins on August 23rd and the registrations for all the 3 titles are now live till September 17th. Registration for each qualifier will close 4 days before the competition. Players need to be over 16 years to age and from United States only.
If the players fail to qualify on Day 1, they can a also participate on Days 2 and 3 as long as they are registered. The tournament will be organized through the official tournament Discord, and passwords and other information will be shared there itself.
Qualifiers
Clash of Clans
- Registration closes Aug 20 @ 2 PM CT
- Qualifiers Day 1, 2 & 3: Aug 23, 24 & 25 @ 7 PM CT – Open to all eligible registrants.
- Qualifiers Day 4: Aug 26 @ 2 PM CT – The top 8 teams compete to determine the top 2 teams.
- Qualifiers Day 5: Aug 28 @ 7 PM CT – The top 2 teams will compete to determine the 8 advancing players to play in the Superverse Grand Finals.
Note: Games on this day are earlier than other days.
Brawl Stars
- Registration closes Sep 3 @ 2 PM CT
- Qualifiers Day 1, 2 & 3: Sep 7 @ 7 PM CT – Open to all eligible registrants.
- Qualifiers Day 4: Sep 10 @ 7 PM CT – The top 8 teams will compete to determine the top 2 teams advancing to the Superverse Grand Finals.
Clash Royale
- Registration closes Sep 17 @ 2 PM CT
- Qualifiers Day 1, 2 & 3: Sep 21, 22 & 23 @ 7 PM CT – Open to all eligible registrants.
- Qualifiers Day 4: Sep 24 @ 7 PM CT – The top 16 teams will compete to determine the top 8 players advancing to the Superverse Grand Finals.
Galaxy Battles: Superverse: Grand Finals
The Grand Finals of Galaxy Battles: Superverse will be held on September 3oth at 3 PM CT and one content creator will team up with two qualified players, making each member of the team different from the game. There will be 12 teams in total and each team will have one player from Clash of Clans, one from Brawl Stars, and one from Clash Royale. Every match in the grand finals will include a set of each game, where all 3 players will compete across all 3 titles.
Galaxy Battles: Superverse 2023: Creators
Galaxy Battles: Superverse has partnered with gaming creators for the tournament series. This includes gaming personalities such as GOJJ, who will be hosting the tournament, and special guests, Fuslie and Courage. These creators will compete alongside the players in the finals. Galaxy Battles: Superverse 2023: Prize Pool
Galaxy Battles: Superverse features a prize pool of a whopping $100,000 and a Samsung Galaxy Bundle with exclusive Galaxy products such as Galaxy Z Fold5, Tab S9+, Buds2 Pro, and a trip to Clash or Brawl Stars World Finals.
The tournament also has amazing giveaways during the Superverse Grand Finals on September 30th at 3 PM CT including Google Play Gift Cards and Samsung Galaxy Bundles. Interested fans can tune in for the official live stream of finals on the Official Samsung US YouTube channel and try their luck to get their hands on these exciting goodies. The QFs and Grand Finals will also be livestreamed on Twitch, and Facebook channels.
