Pokémon UNITE World Tournament 2023 will feature 15 VTubers from three Hololive Branches
This will be organized as the Pre-World Championships Event to promote the World Championships which is scheduled to be held at the Pacifico convention center in Yokohama, Japan starting on August 9th to the 14th. With a prize pool of $500,000 being awarded, it is going to be an exciting event for all the fans of the game, ending a long journey of multiple tournaments that kickstarted this February.
For those who do not know, Hololive is a virtual idol agency and talent management company based in Japan. It is known for producing virtual YouTubers (VTubers) who are virtual avatars with distinct personalities and identities. These VTubers interact with their fans through live streams, videos, and social media.
The event will kick off on the 10th of August at 12 pm JST (3 am UTC). 15 VTubers, five each of Hololive, Hololive English, and Hololive Indonesia will be featured, with the list as follows:
