KartRider Rush+ Race Master 2022: Haste announced with a prize pool of $4,700

Nexon’s mobile kart racer KartRider Rush+ has announced the Race Master: Haste Tournament 2022 starting from today, March 18th, 2022 through March 31st, 2022. Registration is open for all racers who want to challenge for the title of Speed Master: Haste with a total prize pool of over $4,700 USD. The registration is available from now through Thursday, March 31, 2022.

KartRider Rush+ Race Master 2022: Haste: Format and Point system

Race Master 2022: Haste is a solo-speed race open to competitors from all five countries: Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore with a total prize pool of over $4,700 USD. There will be two phases of this competition –

  • Phase 1: Round of 256 and 128
  • Phase 2 (Livestream): Round of 64, 32, and Final

Phase 1: Round of 256 – 128

Here’s how phase 1 of this tournament will pan out:

  1. Race in a total of 5 games in Speed Solo mode with Score System base.
  2. The racers will be divided into groups of 8 people.
  3. Top 4 racers with the highest total scores in each group will proceed to the next round. (All qualifiers will be randomised for new grouping again.)
  4. In case that two racers have the same total score after 5 games and are in 4th place together, they will proceed through a ‘Tie Break’ match by competing in the track played in the 1st game of that round. Winner will proceed to the next round.
  5. Round of 256 Tracks: Up ‘N’ Down (Village) > Downtown Dubai (World) > Singapore Circuit (WKC) > Bridge Run (Beach) > Namsan Tour (Village)
  6. Round of 128 Tracks: Training Center (Sword) > Korea Circuit (WKC) > The Forgotten City (Mechanic) > Dino Boneyard (Jurassic) > Shipping Lanes (Beach)

Phase 2

Here’s how phase 2 of this tournament will pan out:

Round of 64 – 32

  1. Race in a total of 7 games in Speed Solo mode with Score System base.
  2. The racers will be divided into groups of 8 people.
  3. Top 4 racers in the Round of 64 with the highest total score in each group will proceed to the next round as the marked-group position
  4. Top 2 racers in the Round of 32 with the highest total score in each group will proceed to the next round as the marked-group position
  5. In case that two racers have the same total score after 7 games and are in 4th place together in Round of 64, and 2nd place together in Round of 32. They will proceed through a ‘Tie Break’ match by competing in the track played in the 1st game of that round. Winner will proceed to the next round.
  6. Tracks for Round of 64 – 32 will be randomised from “10. Racing Tracks Round of 64 Racers – Final”

Final

  1. Race in a total of 20 games in Speed Solo mode with Score System base.
  2. Racer that first earns 80 points will be entitled for Match Point round. If that racer wins the Match Point round by ranking in the 1st place, he/she will be the winner of this tournament. (The racer has the opportunity to compete in the Match Point round within the remaining games or within 20 games only)
  3. In case the racer who is entitled for Match Point round couldn’t win 1st place within 20 games and there is no other racer who gets 80 points, that racer will be considered the winner of this tournament.
  4. In case that there are more than one racer who are entitled for the Match Point Round, whoever wins 1st place in Match Point round first within 20 games will be considered the winner of this tournament.
  5. In case that there are more than one racer who are entitled for the Match Point round and neither of them wins 1st place within 20 games. The racer with the higher total score of the final round will be the winner of this tournament. However, if they have the same score. They will proceed through a ‘Tie Break’ match by competing in the track played in the 1st game of that round to decide the tournament winner.
  6. Tracks for the Final round will be randomised from “10. Racing Tracks Round of 64 Racers – Final”

Due to the competition format, we will collect the accumulated points within the group. The score obtained is based on the score of the finishing order in the game as follows;

  • Rank 1st = 10 points
  • Rank 2nd = 8 points
  • Rank 3rd = 6 points
  • Rank 4th = 5 points
  • Rank 5th = 4 points
  • Rank 6th = 3 points
  • Rank 7th = 2 points
  • Rank 8th = 1 point
  • Unfinished = 0 point

Prize Pool

The Race Master 2022: Haste rewards are as follow:

  • First place will receive $667 USD cash, tournament trophy, and medal along with the in-game items (Battery x2,000 and KRPL Badge).
  • Second place will receive $500 USD cash and tournament medal along with the in-game item (Battery x2,000).
  • Third place will receive $333 USD cash and tournament medal along with the in-game item (Battery x2,000).
  • Fourth place will receive $267 USD cash and tournament medal along with the in-game item (Battery x2,000).
  • Fifth place will receive $67 USD cash.
  • Sixth place will receive $67 USD cash.
  • Seventh place will receive $67 USD cash.
  • Eighth place will receive $67 USD cash.

Apart from these rewards, all racers in the Round of 256 will receive K-coin x5,000 in the game.
