MOONTON Games, an international gaming developer, and publisher, has partnered with the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports (MOEYS) of Cambodia for the forthcoming ASEAN Paralympic Games 2023. The firm intends to implement various initiatives through its corporate social responsibility (CSR) unit MOONTON Cares to highlight the federation’s campaign for athletes with health issues or impairments.

On May 27, 2023, MOONTON Cares and MOEYS hosted a workshop at Phnom Penh’s Legend Olympia Mall. Over 100 students attended the event, which had the theme “Esports as a career for all,” and learned how people with disabilities may compete and find work in the esports sector. The Burn X Flash team manager Lee Xin, the paralympic medalist in esports from Cambodia Kheng Sophorn, and the MOEYS representative Duong Meas Chamroeun led the seminar.

Along with inviting students to the workshop, MOONTON Cares and MOEYS will also invite them to the Para Games and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) 2023, both of which will take place in June 2023. To provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the process involved in mounting an official esports broadcast show, participants will be given tours of the backstage, production area, and player quarters.
MOONTON Cares to invite Para Games players to attend its MSC Gala to strengthen their bond
To help them bond even more, MOONTON Cares will also invite Para Games competitors to its MSC Gala, which is set for June 8, 2023. Participants can exchange jerseys and take part in entertaining activities like team logo pins.
The ASEAN Paralympics will take place from June 4-5, 2023, and four nations—the Philippines, Cambodia, Malaysia, and Thailand—will compete. MSC 2023, on the other hand, will start from June 10 through June 19, 2023. From the WOWNOW website, fans may sign up for FREE passes. Fans will also be able to purchase official memorabilia and a limited-edition MSC shirt locally.
