Tournament schedule and format

15 matches are expected to be played over the course of three days from April 27 to April 29. There will be 5 matches per day. The matches are locked to the first-person perspective only, ensuring a level playing field. In addition to the final standings, points are also awarded based on kills. During the early stages of the match I.e. during the first and second safe zones, a kill is worth two points while any kills taken from the third zone and later will count for only one point. This is expected to discourage camping and “waiting it out” for other players to fight among themselves.

As far as standings go, the points are distributed as follows:

In addition, prizes are also offered for the team that achieves the highest kills for every single match. On day 1, the team with the highest number of kills will receive roughly around $6000 or 40,000 CNY for that particular match. On day 2, the reward is increased to around $9000 or 60000 CNY, and on day 3 the reward is around $15000 or 100,000 CNY. In the event of a tiebreaker, the criteria used to determine the winner is,

  • The team with the higher points totals for that particular match
  • The team with players in higher positions for that particular match

The MVP of the tournament is awarded an individual cash award of around $15000 or 100,000 CNY.
