The onset of Malaysia’s biggest PUBG Mobile competition is almost upon us, with the PUBG Mobile Pro League or the PMPL Malaysia Fall 2023 set to begin on the 7th of June, 2023, and end on the 18th of the same month. Hosted by Tencent, this tournament will have significant consequences for the teams for the rest of the season and the upcoming one as well.
PMPL Malaysia (MY) Fall 2023: Format
The upcoming edition of the PMPL Malaysia Fall 2023 will follow the same format as the other Fall PMPLs such as the PMPL Indonesia Fall 2023. The tournament will feature the top 16 teams from the previous Malaysian PMPL, that is, the PMPL Malaysia Spring 2023. Therefore competition will be at an all-time high with only the best teams in the tournament without other weaker sides.
The 16 teams will compete against each other over a period of two weeks, and matches will take place 5 days a week during this period. Monday and Tuesday will be assigned as rest days and the rest of the week will see 6 matches being contested each day. Therefore, there will be a total of 30 matches in order to determine the winner of Malaysia and take home the trophy.
PUBG Mobile PMPL Malaysia Fall 2023: Participating teams

Prizepool
The tournament will have a total prize pool of $80,000 that will be divided amongst the teams in order of their performance. There will be monetary prizes for certain individual and team accolades as well. Winners will receive $20,000, while runners-up and second runners-up will receive $14,000 and $7000 respectively.
Conclusion
As usual, the PMPL Malaysia Fall 2023 will directly affect the PMGC points of the teams playing and will therefore be crucial in order to determine which team(s) will represent Malaysia in the PUBG Mobile Global Championship or the PMGC, the highest stage of PUBG Mobile esports. The winner will also be invited to the next edition of the PMSL, that is, the PUBG Mobile Super League, a SEA-exclusive PUBG Mobile tournament.
