PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL) MYSGPH League Spring 2022: Format, Prize pool, and more

Philippines joins as a new contender in the tournament!

PUBG Mobile esports is back with the next edition of the PUBG Mobile Pro League which is PMPL MYSGPH League Spring 2022 due to be held later this month. With an additional country, the Philippines, as a new contender in PMPL MY/SG, it will henceforth be known as PMPL MYSGPH.

The PMPL MYSGPH League Spring 2022 will feature 20 PUBG Mobile teams, including 16 invitational teams, 2 Malaysia Qualifier teams, 1 Singapore Qualifier team, and 1 Philippines Qualifier team. The 20 professional teams from 3 countries will compete for a massive prize pool of $150,000.

The PMPL MYSGPH League Spring 2022 is hosted by PUBG Mobile, organized by VSPN, and supported by this year’s Official Smartphone Partner, Realme, and Official Digital Telco partner, Yoodo. The Livestream will be available on the official PUBG MOBILE Facebook page of PUBG Mobile Esports Malaysia and PUBG MOBILE Philippines, as well as YouTube.

PMPL MYSGPH League Spring 2022: Schedule and format

This edition of the tournament will be fully online for 4 weeks, running from 23rd March to 17th April 2022. All 20 PUBG Mobile professional teams will compete in a 3-week long Country League tournament format, with some changes for this split. Teams will be competing for 5 days each week, from Wednesday to Sunday. Points accumulated within the 5 days, will result in an overall weekly ranking.

At the end of every week, each team will get “Weekly Bonus Points” based on their rank that week. After 3 weeks, teams will be ranked according to their placement and elimination points, and awarded “League Bonus Points”.

The 16 teams with the highest total Weekly Bonus Points and League Bonus Points combined will advance to the PMPL MYSGPH League Spring 2022 Country Grand Finals, where their total Bonus Points will then be brought forward into the Country Grand Finals.

The top 3 teams of the Country Grand Finals will directly qualify for the PMPL Southeast Asia (SEA) Championship 2022. Teams ranked 4 to 6 in overall ranking points will qualify to the PMPL Southeast Asia (SEA) Championship 2022 Play-in, where they will compete for the last 3 slots of the PMPL Southeast Asia (SEA) Championship 2022.

Well-known and veteran teams will compete to continue their reign of dominance over the region, against both experienced and fresh new teams, making it more competitive than ever before.

The team that takes the crown this season will represent its country in the 2022 PMPL SEA Championship, where most of the countries in Southeast Asia, including Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, will compete for the title as the best of the best in the region.

Promoted Teams from 2022 PMPL Country Qualifiers

The 20 teams will be seeded into 5 groups, which will be announced at the upcoming Group Draw on 13th March 2022. The Group Draw live stream will be available at the official PUBG MOBILE Malaysia Facebook and YouTube.

With 5 maps per day, each team will have to perform in 4 matches daily to secure their overall ranking placement. At the end of the Country League, only the top 16 will advance to the 2022 PMPL MY/SG/PH Spring Country Grand Finals.
