PUBG Mobile Pro Series (PMPS) 2024 Season 2: Teams, Format, Prize Pool, and More

The second season is here, get ready!

South Korea‘s official professional league for PUBG Mobile Esports is going to commence the PMPS 2024 Season 2 soon. From the 10th of August 2024 to the 1st of September, the event will take place with 16 of the top teams from the country.

According to the roadmap, there will be four pro series events starting from 0 to 3. The winner of the first one will elevate to the prestigious event of the PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) in Brazil. There will be two Rivals Cup events and the year will end with the biggest event of PUBG Mobile esports, the PMGC 2024.

PMPS 2024 Season 2: Schedule and Format

With 16 teams, the event will kick off the Regular Season on the 10th of August 2024. In the 3 phase of its first stage, there will be 6 matchdays in each phase, making a total of 3 phases. Each day will feature 6 matches. The top teams in each phase will be awarded headstart points for the Grand Finals.

The Grand Finals will take place for 3 days. From the 30th of August 2024 to the 1st of September, the grand finals will take place at the Dream Arena, Daejeon, South Korea. A total of 18 matches will commence in three days, 6 matches a day.

A total of 16 teams will join the battle to become the champion.  PUBG Mobile announced the partner teams for South Korea. Those 10 teams will join the league with 6 invited from last year’s PMPS 2023 Season 3 Korea. The list of the teams is as follows.

Prize Pool

The event featured a total of â‚©50,000,000 (almost $38,000) as the prize pool. Being the champion, Dplus took the largest share of â‚©30,000,000 (almost $22,500). DRX came up in second place and took â‚©10,000,000 (almost $7,500) while Nongshim RedForce was in third place and bagged â‚©5,000,000 (almost $4,000).

Dplus is the champion of PMPS 2024 Season 2

Dplus became the champion of the event with a total of 174 points. The runner-up team also gathered the same but Dplus was ahead in WWCDs number. The cut-to-throat competition between these two took the event to a new height. Nolbu from the champion team became the MVP of PMPS 2024 Season 2 and was awarded â‚©2,000,000 (almost $1,500).

The event in Korea’s PUBG Mobile esports scene is on the way to thrill the audience in its offline presence. With the teams locked in and the event to kick off soon, the stage is also set to welcome everyone with open hearts.
