Top Chinese teams Still Moving Under Gunfire (SMG), Nova Esports, and LGD Gaming have qualified for the PMRC 2022. JJ Lin, a well-known Singaporean singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor, along with China Digital Culture (Group) Ltd., formed Team SMG, an esports company. The team qualified for the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2022 by taking first place in the highest level professional competition for Peacekeeper Elite in China in the summer of 2022.

The current global champion Nova Esports, who took first place in the PMGC Grand Finals last year, will also participate in the PMRC 2022. This implies that Paraboy, one of the top PUBG Mobile players in the world, will also be taking part in the competition. Due to their third-place finish in the PEL Summer 2022, LGD Gaming, the winner of the most recent WEGL Weibo Cup 2022, will also participate in the competition. Due to their great performance in the SEA area in 2022, Team Yangon Galacticos (YG) from Myanmar has been invited to compete in the PMRC 2022.

PUBG Mobile Regional Clash (PMRC) 2022: Format

Twenty matches altogether, five each day, beginning with Sanhok, followed by Miramar, and three on Erangel. Given that Erangel is the map that is used the most during the competition, teams that play well on it may have an advantage. Teams will fight for their nation and, most crucially, their particular regions.

Teams fight for the title of champion, second place, and third place even though the competition is between two areas (PEL and SEA). Even if they are from the same nation or region, teams cannot collaborate or form alliances throughout the event.

The PMRC 2022 event will be conducted according to a new 10-Point system. The first-place team (WWCD) will receive the highest score of 10 points out of the Ranking Points/Placement Points awarded to the Top 8 teams. Every kill will be worth one point. Therefore, taking first place and having more kills during the competition is important.

On Saturday, September 24, 2022, the organizers will also stage a show match between 8 teams for a new match. This specific display match will take place on none other than the brand-new map Nusa. With the most recent Patch 2.2, a brand-new battle royale map called Nusa was added to the game. Only eight teams will take part in this demonstration match because the map is the smallest, measuring just 1 km by 1 km.
