Stalwart Esports wins the ticket to PMWI 2023!

As the grand finals for PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL) South Asia Championship Spring 2023 concluded, the defending champions Stalwart Esports took home the title of the champion. This win added another feather to their cap owing to winning the PMPL South Asia Championship for the third time in a row.

Stalwart Esports have been hailed as South Asia’s best for yet another season with high hopes for leading the world title this time. 

PMPL South Asia Championship Spring 2023: Overview

The fan-favorite Mongolian squad emerged as the team to book the top spot in the PMPL SA tournament this season with a total of 259 points, and 7 chicken dinners throughout the 24 matches. However, looking at their performance in the first two days of the championship series, they only exhibited their true strength on the third day of the finals, bagging a total of 3 chicken dinners.

The other competent Mongolian team, 4Merical Vibes, had to settle down for the second spot in this championship despite their impressive performance on the opening day of the series. Their unwavering consistency fell short from the third day of the championship making their total points 50 less than the winning team. 

Standing at a total point of 177, the popular team from Nepal DRS Gaming managed a podium finish in 3rd place, followed by another Nepali banner, T2K, at position four. The only Pakistani team that could be on the top 10 list is the seventh-place holder Agonxi8, causing Pakistani fans to leave with a heavy hearts. 

PMPL South Asia Championship Spring 2023: Prize Pool

The PMPL South Asia Championship Spring 2023 featured a prize pool of $150,000, with Stalwart Esports bagging the lion’s share of $26,000. The teams in second and third place took home $20,000 and $14,000 of the prize money respectively. Coming to the MVP ranking, TOPZZZ from team Stalwart clears the MVP award, earning $1000 in prize money.

Stalwart Esports gained entry to the $3 million PUBG Mobile World Invitational 2023 scheduled to take place in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) this July. Fans and the team alike are ardently waiting to turn their ticket to PMWI into a roaring success, finally hoping to pull in the global title.
