STE’s journey through the PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL) South Asia Championship Spring 2022
The champions of the South Asian sub-region stage dominated the event from the very beginning. It looked like the rest of the teams were fighting for claiming the rest of the spots. Though STE could not manage more than three chicken dinners, while the next top two teams took five, the team never forgot to pick up kills and placements points. After all the 24 matches, the point table looked like there were no competitors to hold back the champion team, except for winning chicken dinners.
The event featured a massive $150,000 prize pool. Being the top team, STE bagged a lion’s share of the prize money which was $40,000. The runner-up T2K took $28,000, while the third team of the top three, JyanMaara picked $18,000. TOP from the champion team became the MVP of the event and was awarded $2,000.
With the championship trophy in hand, STE will now look forward to the next global stage. As PUBG Mobile World Invitational (PMWI) 2022 has been announced already, the team will now undoubtedly try to earn a respected position there.
