Showing a dominating performance once again in the Wild Rift Southeast Asia (SEA) Icon Series 2021: Fall – Singapore, Team Alliance wins the champion title. The championship title makes a way for Team Alliance to participate in the SEA Championship: Group Stage. The achievement doesn’t stop here as they’re also awarded 12,000 SGD (approximately $9,000) as the prize money.
On their journey to become the champion, the Swedish esports team Alliance defeats Banana by 3-1 in the finals and secured their back-to-back championship. The team holds the crown of the previous season SEA Icon Series 2021: Summer – Singapore and the Preseason as well. Started on August 21, the tournament was held for two days and was concluded today.
SEA Icon Series 2021: Fall – Singapore: How it went
In the Grand Finals, the fight was between Banana and Alliance where Banana took a lead by 1-0 after winning the first round. But the Wild Rift God has written the result differently. Showing unstoppable action, Alliance outranked Banana in the next three matches and won all of the three consecutively, resulting in winning the crown.
SEA Icon Series is the first official tournament circuit by Riot Games for the Southeast Asia Region. The Fall Season is the second official season of the yearly circuit. Apart from the champion, Banana came up as the runner-up and Renatus as second runner-up respectively.
Prize Pool
The prize money is divided among the top three teams. Each team’s share is as follows:
- Champion: $8,791
- Runner-up: $4,395
- 3rd Placed: $1,465
The winning team roster
On Aug 7 2021, The Alliance hired two new team members by replacing two of their former. Former Geek Fam pro player Poon “OzoraVeki” Kok Sing and former Amihan Esports pro player Jelson Anthony “Jelson” Ayon were introduced to the team to fight in the just-concluded series. Finally, the champion Alliance’s Wild Rift roster is composed of the following members.

- Alex “SSK” Tan Yew Ming – Baron Laner
- Kenneth “Raven” Goh – Dragon Laner/ AD Carry
- Jelson Anthony “Jelson” Ayon – Jungler
- Poon “OzoraVeki” Kok Sing – Midlaner
Riot Games and Versus Asia, in partnership with 100PLUS, and Secretlab, organized the tournament. Nine teams participated for a share of 20,000 SGD (14,651 USD). The teams are Alliance, Banana, Renatus, Noblesse Gaming, To The Moon, Ashtrodite Gaming, Team Happy, Team OK, and Reformed. However, the top three teams managed to get a share of the prize money.
