Team Jaguar has emerged as the champions of the recently concluded PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL) Latin America Spring 2023 after a hard-fought battle to stand on the top of the podium. Organized by Tencent, the tournament was the first of the two editions set to be held this year.
PMPL Latin America Spring 2023: Team Jaguar and its road to being champions
The 2023 Spring edition of the PMPL LATAM did not disappoint the viewers who tuned in. It offered plenty of PUBG Mobile action and an extremely well-matched competition between the teams to win the title that lasted till the last match. Jaguar received firm resistance from All Glory Gaming and Royals of War.
Jaguar started off their run in the finals in a flamboyant manner but eventually dwindled which gave All Glory Gaming a chance to catch up to them, which they did by showcasing their own impressive gameplay. Even Royals of War entered the rise charge, but ultimately fell short in the two-horse race for the trophy.
Separated by just 1 point in the Final standings, the tussle between Jaguar and All Glory went down to the wire and kept everyone on the edge of their seats till the very end. The Final surely delivered the high-octane competition it promised. Ultimately, it resulted in Jaguar ending up as the title winner.
Prize Pool
The PMPL LATAM 2023 Spring featured a total prize pool of $100,000 that was divided among all teams in order of their final position. The winner Jaguar received $9000 and the runners-up and third-placed All Glory and Royals of War received $7500 and $7250 respectively.
The top 4 teams from the finals of PMPL LATAM 2023 Spring has qualified to play in the American Championship, where they will compete against other top-ranked teams from all over the continents of North America and South America. The winners of this tournament will end up getting a slot for the upcoming PUBG Mobile Invitational (PMWI) 2023.
