On the event of Halloween, The Valley faced off against The Simpsons in the final of the Mobile Legends North Challenger Cup in the 2022 edition, where they ended up as the champions. The champions of the tournament won a cash prize of USD 10,500 and received a qualification entry to Mobile Legends M4 World Championship. The tournament will take place from the dates of 1st of January, 2022 to the 16th of January, 2023 in the city of Jakarta.
Mobile Legends North Challenger Cup 2022: The Valley and its road to being champions
The Valley defeated the Simpsons 4-1, displaying their extraordinary breadth of hero pool knowledge and technical mastery. The team featured some of the more seasoned team members, such FwydChicken, who were formerly the North American representatives in the M3 World Championship. The squad is led by the star player, MobaZane.
The team featured the likes of Michael “MobaZane” Cosgun as the Jungler, along with SeongHun “Hoon” Jang as the mid-laner. Peter “Basic” Bryce was featured as the Gold Laner, along with Oscar “Super Shark” Vo as the tank player. The squad was rounded up by Ian “Chicken” Hohl as the EXP Laner.
It will be The Valley’s first attendance as a newly reformed team to the international championship in Jakarta, where they will be facing off other strong opponents and other international teams.
Final Thoughts
For the MLBB community, the NACT competition was the first-ever LAN event and influencers like Avgaming, Bendonehaddid, Drew, Assassin Dave, and others attended. In order to commemorate Halloween, there was a unique cosplay event for visitors. The participants had the opportunity to win special prizes which includes in-game stuff and skins, along with offline participation.
