TJ Sports to host the inaugural Wild Rift tournament in China

The 4-part tournament, leading to the Professional League, kicks off on 27 July

Earlier today, most of the League of Legends Professional League (LPL) teams have signed a Wild Rift roster after the introduction of an Esports roadmap for the MOBA Title in China. TJ Sports, a joint venture organization formed between Tencent and Riot Games has announced its grand plan to establish an inaugural Wild Rift Professional League tournament in China. According to a post made by the organization on the social media platform Weibo, the League will be kickstarted with a warm-up tournament followed by three different tournaments, National Competition, LPL Track, and Influencer Track. This will ultimately lead to the Professional League

Super Burning Warm-up Tournament

As mentioned earlier, TJ Sports will kick off the Wild Rift scene in China with the Super Burning Warm-up inaugural tournament, as translated from Mandarin. This will be scheduled for the 27th of July, 2021. A total of 16 LPL teams have already signed up for the League except for Suning Gaming, who stepped back from the initial tournament due to undisclosed reasons. Additionally, the final standings of the warm-up tournament will decide the groupings for the next LPL Track to be held in September. There will be 16 teams participating in the tournament.
