Among Us, the current hot favorite game on cross-platform. It is a detective mystery game. This game has two roles, impostors and crewmates. Being an impostor, players will have to kill other crewmates to win the match, and being a crewmate, players will have to complete tasks, find hidden impostors to win the match. The game has 3 maps- The Skeld, Mira HQ, and Polus. So in this guide, we will discuss each and every map in detail and all the tips on how to master them in Among Us.
Primary Locations in the Among Us Map
Every map has some primary locations, where impostors can find players to kill. For example, here is a map of the Skeld, where you can get the vent lanes, etc.
1. The Skeld
Skeld is one of the most preferred map in the game. The vent locations and the routes are shown in the above picture. The emergency meeting button is in the cafeteria. There are 4 security camera locations in the Skeld, Medbay entrance, Admin entrance, Navigation entrance and Security entrance.
2. Mira HQ
Mira HQ is comparatively the smaller map in-game. This map is very popular among the vent users because this map’s every vent is connected to each other. So if the player kills someone in the Admin, they can easily go to the Reactor and fake it. The emergency meeting button is in the Cafeteria. Also, there are no security cameras in the Mira HQ.
3. Polus
Polus is the biggest map in the game. It’s a great map for the impostor because of its size. This map is semi-connected with the vents. Players can check the vent routes in the picture. There are six security cameras in the Polus, those locations are South, East, Central, Northwest, Southwest, Northeast. The emergency meeting button is in the office.
Preferred kill locations in Among Us Map
Each map has a place where the impostor can easily get a kill and vent away. This places became kill zones because of those places’ forsaken location, lack of security cameras. Those locations are discussed below:’
The Skeld
Electrical
This is the most infamous kill location among all maps. There are 3-4 tasks and a sabotage(light fix) in this place. It also has a vent which connected to the Security and the Medbay. There is a joke about it, which is: “What happens in the Electrical, stays in the Electrical”.
Mira HQ
Decontamination
Decontamination is a big room and it needs a second door to open to get in. It also has a vent. This is enough to chill any crewmate. It’s an isolated location on the map with no security camera. So crewmates, watch out for the danger.
Polus
Specimen Room
The specimen room is much like the decontamination. But there is no vent in this room, so it’s hard to escape from here. Do a double kill with the other impostor and run- this is probably the best way. Crewmates can easily be found here alone because of its forsaken location.
Note: If you are a crewmate, try to go to these locations with someone who is not an impostor(proved through visual tasks) or avoid these locations and do the other tasks and if you are the impostor, wait in the vents, wait for your prey to come near you, catch them alone, and the rest you know well.
