Duels, the solo game mode, which was released in the December update has been one of the well-received newer game modes. In a duel, players are not dependent on any teammate and both players pick 3 brawlers at the start of the game to fight out in a 1v1 fashion. On defeating one of the picked brawlers, the other brawler will come into the battle. To win, players will need to take down all three enemy brawlers. In the special Brawl Stars Duels Challenge, players will need to win 10 matches across 5 maps to complete the challenge, in order to win an exclusive pin among other rewards like Star Points, Tokens, Big Box, and Mega Box. Brawl Stars Duels Challenge Guide: Maps
While building teams it is important to keep in mind the order in which brawlers are picked as it plays an important part in the battle.
1. No Surender
This is an open map where brawlers with long-range strive and Piper dominate the mid with her insane damage potential and auto-aimer gadget. Belle is a good option if players don’t feel comfortable with Piper. For the second and third brawlers, Byron, Nani, Leon, and Gene are the best.

The map is covered with grass, therefore, brawlers who can scout the bush, became important as the first pick. Crow and Gale are the best Scouters, while Stu can also act as a first pick, with one shot, where he gets his super and can retreat. The best brawlers for second and third picks are Tara, Rosa, Ash, and Spike.

With a lot of walls, the early matchup is very slow and brawlers who can charge their supers or have a fast super-charge rate are suitable for the first pick. To counter high DPS brawlers and/or tanks, Surge, Gale, Tara, and Janet are the best options. Thereby, they should be picked in the second and third slots.

The closed nature of the mid is surrounded by the rectangular walls, which makes Stu and Gale the best picks for this map. They have the ability to handle agro, as well as long-range brawlers. Other options are Leon, Darryl, Spike, Ruffs, Emz, and Squeak.
