Clash of Clans is here with yet another season, which kicks off August 2024 with the exciting Anime season making its debut. As always, a new season brings intriguing events, and this time, we have the It’s Over 9000!! Challenge in Clash of Clans to beat. If you’re reading this article, you’re in the right place to learn how to secure those three stars with your attack.
Introducing the It’s Over 9000 Challenge in Clash of Clans
As the name implies, this is a fun challenge created by Yuta14, a well-known Clash YouTuber, and it brings the anime excitement. Yes, while it may seem tricky and hard to break down the base, this guide will help you tackle it with ease.
On the rewards front, the structure stays the same as in past challenges, with the team sticking to their usual distribution approach, showing no signs of changing it soon. You will receive extra resources along with 400 XP, 25 Gems, and 1x Resource Potion.
How to beat the It’s Over 9000 Challenge in Clash of Clans
You have all four Heroes in this attack, and that’s the biggest tip I will give you, proper use of them in this attack. Start by setting your Grand Warden to air mode. At the top, place a giant to the top right to trigger the Rage Tower. Further to the right, place a giant in line with the Archer Tower, quickly followed by your Warden to take it down and preserve his health.
Use an Earthquake spell on the Town Hall to deal damage to all the buildings in the center, so that you can take them down easily as you approach that area. Follow this with the Overgrowth Spell in the top compartment. When the Grand Warden is attacking the X-Bow in the middle, which is set to ground, wait until it is just below 50% health, then turn the Bomb Tower invisible. Now, I’ll explain why.
When the X-Bow goes down, activate the Warden’s ability. His Fireball will damage the center, and hence he will move towards the Town Hall instead of the Bomb Tower. When he starts taking damage while attacking the Town Hall, turn him invisible with the spell. Next up is more cleaning of the base.
Deploy 10 Goblins roughly on top of the Elixir Storage to the right of the Overgrowth, then about 15 Barbarians on top of the Royal Champion. At the bottom of the base, use a giant to the bottom right to trigger the Rage Tower and a Wall Breaker to open that up as well.
Deploy the Royal Champion to the north, rage on top of the Spell Tower in the center, then freeze and activate the Royal Champion’s ability. Use two Skeleton Spells on the Scattershot in the center to tank and take it down. As the Royal Champion exits the top compartment, deploy the Druid in the same area.
Spam your remaining Barbarians next to the Archer Queen to prevent her from attacking your Royal Champion. Use Hog Riders and your final Invisibility Spell when the Bomb Tower goes down. Place the spell just below the Bomb Tower to protect your Hog Riders and Royal Champion.
At the bottom of the base, place your Barbarian King, Queen, and Log Launcher, and activate their abilities to push through the bottom compartment. Finally, spread your remaining Goblins to clean up the storage and avoid a time fail. Well, must be a hard grasp, but after a couple of tries, you are good to go!
