Clash of Clans continues the April 2026 Sound of Clash season with another fun event challenge, and this time it’s the Showstopper Challenge. Like always, it might look tricky at first, but once you understand the flow, securing an easy three-star is very doable. Here’s a simple and reliable way to clear it.
Introducing the Showstopper Challenge in Clash of Clans
The Showstopper Challenge brings a new Hero Equipment, showcasing the Dragon Duke’s Rocket Backpack equipment, which is expected to arrive with the upcoming Metal Event. This ability allows the Dragon Duke to dash across the base after activation.

Rewards haven’t changed; they will remain the same as before. Once you complete the three-star attack, you will receive the resources along with 400 XP, 25 Gems, and 1x Hero Potion.
How to beat the Showstopper Challenge in Clash of Clans
The main idea is to set up the base using spells and let the Dragon Duke carve a path for your army. Start by ensuring your Grand Warden is set to Air Mode. Then deploy a Baby Dragon at the top of the base near the Eagle Artillery to take it down early.
Next, use your Earthquake and Lightning spells on both sides. Drop one Earthquake just below each Multi Target Inferno, then place three Lightning spells between the Air Defense and Revenge Tower. Repeat the same on the other side.

Now deploy the Dragon Duke onto the Super Wizard Tower. With the Angry Jelly support, it will quickly clear the area. As it moves toward the Mortar, activate its ability so it flies across the base and removes the dangerous defenses.
After that, place two Bat Spells on each Revenge Tower. With the setup done, begin your main push. Deploy the Barbarian King on the right side near the Gold Mine to help funnel. From the bottom, send in your Ice Golem, Ice Hound, Dragons, Electro Dragon, Dragon Riders, Druid, Stone Slammer, Grand Warden, and Minion Prince.
Let them group and push into the base. Once your Ice troops freeze defenses, use a Poison Spell on Clan Castle troops, then activate the Grand Warden ability to protect your army through heavy damage. As your troops move up, use a Super Minion to snipe the top Air Defense, and deploy Baby Dragons on the left side to clean up remaining structures.
Watch for the single-target Infernos at the back. Let them lock onto your tanks first, then place the Totem Spell in the center to distract and reduce damage. As cleanup begins, spread your Baby Dragons and trigger the Barbarian King’s ability when needed.
You can also use a Minion to pick off leftover Air Defenses. If needed, save the Revive Spell for the Dragon Duke to secure the triple. That’s it, you get your three stars.
