- This article is dedicated to sharing the complete list of new Clash Royale cards that arrived this 2025.
- From the overview to strategies, check out the best decks for each Clash Royale arrival.
Clash Royale is one of the games where the meta frequently changes (not looking at ya, MK), and one of the reasons for the same is the addition of new cards. In 2025, this isn’t any different, and we have already seen a few new cards arrive in Clash Royale.
Each new card brings something unique to the table. Some fit right into existing decks, while others completely change how the game is played. In this list, I’ll be keeping track of all the new cards released in 2025, along with a quick look at what makes them special.
List of all new Clash Royale Cards released in 2025
1. Rune Giant
- Type: Troop
- Rarity: Epic
- Elixir Cost: 4
- Released: Season 67
Overview
Season 67 ‘Runic Mountain’ January 2025 Update saw the first card of the year in Rune Giant, arriving in the game. Unlocked in Jungle Arena, Rune Giant is a female unit with a unique ability that boosts nearby friendly troops.

When you notice her gameplay, on the swing of her hands, she enchants up to two troops, making them deal 220 extra damage every third attack. Her enchantment is temporary, however. If a buffed troop dies, the enchantment moves to another unit. But if Rune Giant dies, the ability will fade away in 5 seconds.
Strategies
Before the strategies you use, try to utilize her ability with the correct combination of troops. This ability works well with troops that attack multiple times quickly, like Electro Wizard, Executioner, and Dart Goblin, to name a few, so having them would be a good option.
So this is a pattern that you can follow to other cards too. Pushing the two cards will be a waste if you are using swarms or low-hitpoint troops behind her. Countering the Rune Giant is somewhat the same for other tanks in the game; high-damage defense plays and swarms will see the end of it.

2. Berserker
- Type: Troop
- Rarity: Common
- Elixir Cost: 2
- Released: Season 68
Overview
The second new card of the year arrived with the Season 68 ‘Lumber Love’ February 2025 Update with the Berserker. Arriving as a new Common card, for 2 elixir, she is pretty powerful. Her gameplay is of a fast-attacking melee troop who swings her twin axes at enemies in rapid succession.

Even though her damage per hit is low, her high attack speed makes her a great choice for taking down small enemy troops and dealing steady damage to larger units. She is also tough enough to survive most spells, including fireballs, so she is a tough nut to crack indeed.
Strategies
Berserker is a great all-around card that works well in many different situations. She is very useful against swarm troops like the Skeleton Army and Goblin Gang because she can clear them quickly with her fast attacks. She is also a good counter to medium-sized units because of her high attack speed and solid HP.
One of the best ways to use her is alongside Rune Giant. Since she attacks so fast, she will trigger Rune Giant’s bonus damage effect a lot, making her deal way more damage than usual. She is also a great support unit for Rune Giant because she can clear out enemy swarms that try to surround her.
