The action has intensified in Call Of Duty Mobile as the battle moves from “In Deep Water” to “The Heat” in Season 6. This season has brought in a lot of new items and features in the game for the players. Amidst these items, players will get a new melee – Machete. This new melee is named after a real knife with a broad blade. However, players will get to see a modified version with a different design to its blade in the game. Players can unlock and equip Machete in COD Mobile which is now available as part of the Machete Madness Seasonal challenge for free.
How to unlock Machete in COD Mobile
Players will be able to unlock the Machete in Season 6 by completing the new Machete Madness Seasonal Challenge. Just like every other seasonal challenge, players can earn a bunch of other rewards as well. This seasonal challenge comprises multiple steps needed to be completed to grind and unlock the Machete weapon for your loadout.
- Play 5 Multiplayer matches: 200x Credits, 1000x Battle Pass XP
- Earn the Bloodthirsty medal 15 times in Multiplayer matches: 15x Weapon XP card, 1000x Battle Pass XP
- Kill 20 enemies with any SMG equipped with 5 attachments: Striker (shotgun) – Macaw, 2000x Battle Pass XP
- Kill 5 enemies with any Melee weapon: 400x Credits, 3000x Battle Pass XP
- Kill 8 Enemies with Headshots in any mode: Sword Swipe (spray paint) , 3000x Battle Pass XP
- Kill 8 Enemies with any Wrench (The Wrench can be earned at Tier 1 of the Richtofen’s Rewards in Undead Siege mode for free): 20x Weapon XP card, 4000x Battle Pass XP
- Win 3 matches with any Wrench equipped (The Wrench must be equipped in-hand at the end of the match) : Machete, 5000x Battle Pass XP
The last Step in this Seasonal Challenge is the one by completing which you can get the new melee weapon in the game. Moreover, you have to complete each step in chronological order to unlock the Machete in the game.
How to equip Machete in your loadout in COD Mobile
Once the melee has been unlocked, you can now equip this weapon in Multiplayer, Battle Royale, and the limited-time Zombie mode loadouts. First, let’s equip it in multiplayer.
- From the main menu of the game, head over to Loadout, the option at the bottom.
- Once that is done, your loadout will be displayed. Simply head to the Multiplayer section and click on the “Secondary Weapon” option.
- Select melee and search for Machete. Once the challenge is completed and you have Machete, you can then click on Equip to add it in your Loadout as your secondary weapon.
- To equip this melee in Battle Royale Loadout, click on the melee option which is just beside the Class selection option. Search through all the melees and equip Machete once you acquire it.
- To add Machete in Zombies loadout, select Zombies and click on melee which will be just beside your soldier skin. Swipe through all the melees, and equip Machete.
