There’s a new season 7 update in Cookie Run: Ovenbreak, so Devsisters is having a crossover event with Cookie Run: Kingdom and Cookie Run: Ovenbreak to celebrate. This event is easy to do and should take an hour at most to finish. It rewards you with crystals as well as limited edition decor for your cookie kingdom. Here is a guide to help you complete it.
Cookie Run: Kingdom Ovenbreak Event
The first step is to make sure your Cookie Run: Kingdom account is linked to a Devplay account. Once you’re certain that it is, go download Cookie Run: Ovenbreak on your device.
After installing the game, make sure that your game is linked to the Devplay account that you use for Cookie Run: Kingdom. This is the most important step! To check if both games are connected to your Devplay account, you can go to Cookie Run: Ovenbreak and look for the My Devplay Info tab in settings. It should show up this way:
If both games show up under your email, then it’s working properly. Syncing your account to both games already gives you rewards, and it’s the easiest mission of the three.
The second mission requires you to use 5 cookies and pets in the main breakout episode. Cookies are easy to obtain in Cookie Run: Ovenbreak since you can get starter cookies as a beginner. You also get lots of rewards from completing stages and in-game missions, so you can pull on the Cookie Gacha frequently. Pets are obtainable from the Pet Gacha too.
The Main Breakout episode can be unlocked after progressing through the story, and the main one is always the episode at the top.
Lastly, you need to rank on Gold 5 or higher in the Main Breakout episode. This rank can be achieved quickly, especially since you use 5 cookies at a run.
This lets their individual points add up to your total score. If you don’t get to Gold 5 on your first try, don’t worry! Multiple copies of a cookie or pet make them stronger, so try to level them up when you can.
Finally, after completing all the missions, you should be able to claim the rewards in your mailbox. Each reward gives you crystals and exclusive limited edition decor, so be sure to claim them before the event is over. In total, you can get 5,500 gems from completing the missions, as well as 4 decor set pieces.
