eFootball 2025 Show Time New Year’s Gift Selection Guide

Gifts galore!

The New Year has arrived, and it has already brought us some gifts to enjoy. KONAMI’s eFootball 2025 has also plenty of festive events going on, and at the time of writing, the Festive Season Campaign is running in the game. As it has arrived, we have a special Show Time gift for us, featuring three stellar cards as a selection process. I know, just like me, you’ll have your decision to make. So to help you out, I have this New Year’s Gift Selection Guide to pick the best of the three in eFootball 2025.

eFootball 2025 Show Time New Year’s Gift Players

We have three players as a gift. Here’s a review of them all.

Darwin Nunez

  • Position: CF
  • Playing Style: Goal Poacher
  • Showtime Skill: Bullet Header

Darwin Nunez was my pick because I wanted someone to use for my English League squad. Using him for a few games, he feels like the perfect striker for players who love direct, aggressive football. I could immediately tell he’s all about pace and power. He thrives in the box, whether it’s heading crosses or finishing off low-driven passes with precision.

His aerial ability and physical presence make him a nightmare for defenders during set pieces powered by that Bullet Header Show Time skill, and he has that knack for always being in the right spot to score. If you like playing fast-paced attacks and want a striker who can outpace and outmuscle defenders, Nunez is your guy.

Warren Zaïre-Emery

  • Position: CMF
  • Playing Style: Box-to-Box
  • Showtime Skill: Phenomenal Pass

Warren Zaire-Emery is that all-round midfielder who can do a bit of everything in real life, but this card is a dud. He looks brilliant at controlling the tempo with his pinpoint passing. On the ball too, he looks super composed and can get out of tight spaces thanks to his good dribbling and quick burst of pace, something I have observed in his base card. But here’s where his positives end.

He looks like he might struggle a bit physically against tougher opponents if you build him as a CMF. While he has the stamina to keep running all game, his defensive presence might not be as dominant if the gameplay is very physical, considering the meta. Also apart from the Showtime Skill, these stats aren’t eye catchy.

Endrick

  • Position: CF
  • Playing Style: Deep-Lying Forward
  • Showtime Skill: Phenomenal Finishing

Endrick is a dream for players who love Bobby Charlton to join their attack. Okay, no more jokes. I have used his POTW card, and from there, he’s quick, sharp, and always seems to find space to make something happen. This hard is a huge upgrade over that though, so I’m sure he does everything better from there.

There are a couple of reasons why I didn’t pick this card. Although decent pace, to bulk him up on the physicality side, I need to chip off a few points from his dribbling or shooting. Also, for the Phenomenal Finishing skill, I already have a couple of them, but in Bullet Header there’s Suarez only who doesn’t dive into headers much. Overall, Endrick is a good pick as a Show Time pick.

Whom to select from the New Year’s Gift Players in eFootball 2025

For the New Year’s Gift Players in eFootball 2025, selecting the right player depends on your playstyle and team needs. If you ask me, I suggest going to Nunez. Fits the meta and is quick on his feet, is good at physical duels, and has prowess on both air and ground. Endrick is also a decent choice for those who love dribbling. For the midfielder, I suggest you skip it. Zaire-Emery isn’t a starter material however you build him.
