KONAMI’s eFootball is getting to the year’s end with some stellar campaigns with the FC Barcelona 125th Anniversary and Black Friday arriving at the game. However, what’s stealing the spotlight is the arrival of the legendary golden trio, Messi, Suarez, and Neymar, better known as MSN. With this iconic lineup back in action, eFootball 2025 offers fans a chance to relive the magic of one of football’s most celebrated partnerships, and keeping that in mind, let me share my review of the Epic FC Barcelona MSN pack.
eFootball 2025 Epic FC Barcelona MSN Pack: Messi, Suarez, and Neymar explained
I have been unlucky in the last few packs, especially when it came to the Dutch trio. But I got lucky with the MSN pack because I could get all three within 30 spins. I immediately trained them all and used them in both AI and PvP matches, and my findings are given below.
Lionel Messi
- Card Type: Big Time
- Position: RWF
- Playstyle: Prolific Winger
The highest-rated card in the game. Well, that’s some kind of dealbreaker, right? To be honest, being a Barcelona fan, I would have gone all out for this one just to relive that monumental celebration even if these were not high-rated. But Messi is a Big Time epic card here and also has a Prolific Winger playstyle while also having a Blitz Curler showtime skill. Yeah, endgame stuff.
The stats on paper are massive, without a doubt, but I noticed some concerns about other players in terms of Finishing and Speed. I tried auto-allocate and didn’t feel he was slow. His ball control and tight possession are the best in the game; you don’t even need the pace. Again, I tried different builds based on personal preference. I gave him a Ball-Carrying booster while adjusting dribbling points to improve his Speed and Finishing.
With the new Blitz Curler skill, Messi becomes a lethal weapon for cutting inside and delivering pinpoint shots. His accuracy rate is amazing, and it becomes quite easy to curl it in once you get the hang of it. This version of Messi excels in delivering consistent results across various playstyles, whether you prefer him as a winger or an advanced playmaker. His physicality might not match some stronger cards, but it’s more than sufficient given his technical brilliance. Overall, my best card till now.
Luiz Suarez
- Card Type: Epic
- Position: CF
- Playstyle: Goal Poacher
My main target in this pack was Luisito, without a doubt. The idea of having a physically agile striker who’s quick on his feet and a great dribbler, just like Suarez was in real life during his years at Barca, was something I longed for, and it made my mouth water. Just like I imagined, the stats were a nerf but his in-game performance wasn’t.
When I tried him, there was no denying that he has excellent finishing. Suarez proved to be a consistent goal-scorer who thrives in tight spaces, and he is very quick on his feet and shoots bullets. I gave him Gamesmanship just for fun to check if he was diving to get me some pens or freekicks, but he instead bulldozed into space and scored.
Now what irks me the most is that useless Bullet Header. Both Messi and Neymar are excellent crossers but Suarez’s lack of jumping and heading is reflected cleanly. But when he connected a corner with his head, that header was precise and had pace, so this showtime skill works, but I would have preferred Phenomenal Finishing, but without that he aces it.
Neymar Jr
- Card Type: Epic
- Position: LWF
- Playstyle: Prolific Winger
Surprisingly the underwhelming card of the pack stat-wise. No showtime skill is a huge miss, I believe they might be saving it for his PSG Card. Given how good finishers Suarez and Messi are, KONAMI decided to chip these attributes from Neymar. For a winger, his stats are amazing nonetheless, in-game performances are better than what they reflect.
Dribbling was never a complaint in any of the cards we had, this one might be the best of them all. Plethora of dribbling skills to showboat and is decent in creating chances with good passing. Finishing is decent, saw him missing a couple because of the lack of Kicking Power and First Time Shot skill.
While his Offensive Awareness is below expectations, Neymar still is a top-tier card. The only notable downside is the lack of a Showtime skill, which could have elevated this card further. However, Neymar’s strengths in dribbling and close control ensure he remains effective in most attacking scenarios, so might not be the best card of this pack, but is a sure-shot top 5 winger in-game.
Should you go for the eFootball 2025 Epic FC Barcelona MSN Pack
Available from 21st November 2024, the pack will run for 14 days. I believe this will give you time to grind and get the coins needed and with a sale also live, you can purchase more coins. If you are F2P, I will tell you to save maximum coins and save in case of a re-run, and for P2P and Barca fans, you will enjoy this.
All three are S-tier cards, and while I might not know the definition of end-game, having the advantage of having these in B conditioning is a big plus. From my experience the front three are awesome, and if you know how to utilize these skills perfectly, they are a must-go pack.
Another suggestion from my end is that I landed Neymar first, so I could not try this. But get Messi and Suarez as your first two picks with many tries remaining to get Neymar. You can go for the Starter Ambassador Pack of his which I have purchased and reviewed, which doesn’t have so much of a difference and can be part of the monumental celebration.
