eFootball 2026 “Anticipated Standouts 25-26” September 2025 Nominating Contract Review

The new names!

We are just a month into the new season of eFootball 2026, and KONAMI has already been rolling out fresh packs to keep the momentum going. After an exciting start in August, September welcomes another highly anticipated Nominating Contract to eFootball 2026, this time titled Anticipated Standouts 25-26.

This latest pack focuses on footballers who are tipped to shine in the 2025-26 campaign, highlighting names expected to make a significant impact on their clubs and the pitch. Here’s my breakdown of the players included, along with my verdict and selection picks ranked.

eFootball 2026 ‘Anticipated Standouts 25-26’ September 2025 NC players listed

Viktor Gyökeres

  • Position: CF
  • Playing Style: Goal Poacher

Gyökeres is built like a classic striker who thrives on direct football. This card gives you a no-nonsense forward who can turn half-chances into goals. He loves to get in behind defenses, and once he’s there, he rarely misses.

His player ID has been one of his biggest strengths. His runs feel purposeful, and he brings a strong presence that defenders can’t easily shrug off. Even when the game gets physical, he holds his own and still finds ways to threaten the goal. Dribbling is also decent, overall a solid free card.

Hugo Ekitike

  • Position: CF
  • Playing Style: Deep-Lying Forward

A similar card to Gyökeres, but with better passing and less physical game. Ekitike plays differently from most strikers because of his playing style. He loves to drop off, link with midfield, and then pick his moment to arrive.

Dribbling is rough on this one with the player build, very sluggish, and for the speed too, which affects when you are running with him on the ball. I’ve tried his other cards, and this, although seemingly a strong improvement, might not be that game-changer F2P card.

Willian Pacho

  • Position: CB
  • Playing Style: Destroyer

Another decent F2P defender option, with a change in build, I feel you can give the best version needed for this card. Early 90s in the defence, speed, and acceleration over 80s, and heading also around the same would be a strong build.

I haven’t played with him, so I cannot give a strong verdict on this one, but looking at his physical stats and overall card, I definitely feel he can be a really strong backup option. Reminds me of the Mosquera card from the Spanish League selection.

Bryan Mbeumo

  • Position: RWF
  • Playing Style: Prolific Winger

Mbeumo is a decent winger card. A good dribbler is seen here with those numbers, solid pace, and acceleration to back his game, so he can be that wide winger you can thread passes to. That said, it doesn’t seem like a dependable finisher or crosser, so you might need to play with your builds.

Giuliano Simeone

  • Position: RMF
  • Playing Style: Roaming Flank

Simeone looks like a hard-working wide player who can cover plenty of ground. His playstyle makes him flexible enough to drift into different wing positions. However, he doesn’t particularly excel at one thing, so while useful, he may not stand out. Weak foot isn’t really eye-catching either.

Rodrigo Mora

  • Position: AMF
  • Playing Style: Creative Playmaker

Mora gives you a classic creative midfielder option. The tight control and passing ability mean he can slot into build-up roles with ease. He is sharp in moving the ball quickly, but not really a scoring threat or someone who offers much physical strength. A mini-Isco, if I were to say.

Wilfried Gnonto

  • Position: LWF
  • Playing Style: Roaming Flank

Gnonto‘s card is all about pace and direct dribbling. He has that burst that makes him dangerous when carrying the ball, giving you an outlet down the flanks. With this, the good part ends. I’m sure at this point you will have better picks to choose from. But you can make use of that 4-Star NC.

Gonzalo García

  • Position: CF
  • Playing Style: Fox In The Box

A nice profile with stats, not that impressive. Maxes out in the 80s, even after playing with the build to push those numbers. Not impressive anywhere, not sure if he would play beyond his stats either.

Verdict on ‘Anticipated Standouts 25-26’ September 2025 NC players in eFootball 2026

Here’s my ranking for the new NC pack.

TierPlayers
SSS (Endgame)None
SS (Excellent)None
S (Strong)Viktor Gyökeres
A (Good)Hugo Ekitike, Willian Pacho
B (Average)Bryan Mbeumo, Rodrigo Mora, Giuliano Simeone, Wilfried Gnonto
C (Below Average)Gonzalo García

Overall, this is a decent but skippable pack unless you specifically need depth in attack or midfield for a new player. Gyokeres and Ekitike were my picks, so I can say the former is a strong card, performs well, and even though I have higher-rated cards, Gyökeres is a fantastic sub option.
