eFootball 2026 keeps the Epic drops coming, and this time, it’s a proper nostalgic experience with the Epic World Classics pack. Featuring Gerd Müller, Gianfranco Zola, and Pelé, this trio brings three very different attacking identities into one draw.
While the first two are making their debut in the game, Pele gets another stellar card here, with a different playstyle compared to his first arrival. So, high OVRs on offer, top-tier numbers, and all getting double show time treatment. Is it worth spending your coins? My verdict is here.
eFootball 2026 Epic World Classics players
Gerd Müller
- Position: CF
- Playing Style: Fox In The Box
- Show Time Skill: Phenomenal Finishing and Willpower
Müller is exactly what you expect from him. A pure Fox in the Box with ridiculous Offensive Awareness and explosive Acceleration. He doesn’t feel like a long sprinter, but inside the box, over those first few steps, he’s lethal. That burst, combined with his finishing, is what makes him deadly.
Physically, he feels sturdier than most small forwards. Good balance, strong on the ball, and surprisingly solid in the air for his height. Heading and physical contact are more than usable, so he’s not just a tap-in merchant.

The real issue is the playstyle itself. Fox in the Box is still not the most popular choice in eFootball. In today’s meta, you either see through ball-collecting Goal Poachers or a CF who has to drop slightly and help in link-up play, and with FITB being that latter profile, I see that’s where Müller struggles.
His passing is very low compared to someone like Puskás, who is a really good FITB profile. If you use him strictly as a box predator and build your system around him, he’ll score. If you expect him to create, you’ll feel the limitation.
Suggested Skills: Double Touch, Long Range Shooting, One Touch Pass, Cut Behind and Turn, Chip Shot Control/Rising Shot

Gianfranco Zola
- Position: SS
- Playing Style: Creative Playmaker
- Show Time Skill: Blitz Curler and Momentum Dribbling
Zola is honestly a dribbler’s delight. The first thing you notice is how smooth he feels on the ball. Tight turns, quick touches, and that light, agile movement that makes him fun to control. He offers a fresh, on-the-ball feel compared to many small, agile players who sometimes feel similar to each other.
For a Creative Playmaker, I felt he moved more in the attacking third, somewhat close to a Hole Player. Maybe just my observation, pretty interesting. His free-kick ability is a massive bonus. The extremely high curl and place-kicking numbers are indeed bonkers.

That’s where Blitz Curlers are going to be pretty accurate. Long shots also feel very reliable, although I definitely feel he can be better with a little higher kicking power. Passing can be improved, but I did feel the allocation I gave him was enough.
Physically, he’s obviously not strong. You’re not using him to hold defenders off. Fighting Spirit can come in handy, I would say, but thanks to Gamesmanship, he got me some good free-kick chances. I used him as an SS to make use of his finishing and Blitz, works brilliantly.
Suggested Skills: First Time Shot, Outside Curler, Sole Control, Pinpoint Crossing, Low Lofted Pass

Pelé
- Position: SS
- Playing Style: Creative Playmaker
- Show Time Skill: Phenomenal Finishing and Momentum Dribbling
Let’s be honest, any Pelé card that will come to this game is top-tier; you can blindly go for any version of this guy. This is the second card we have, so I think I would start with a little comparison here. The stat panel here is basically identical to the older Pelé, so performance-wise, you’re getting that same elite-level card.
The main difference is the playstyle. The older version was Deep Lying Forward, while this one is Creative Playmaker. That slightly changes how he positions himself and how involved he is in the buildup. Now, about the Showtime skill, the new version comes with Momentum Dribbling, while the older one had Phenomenal Passing.

Personally, for this position, I rate Phenomenal Passing higher. Momentum Dribbling is nice, but the boost is not that noticeable on a player who is already extremely smooth on the ball. Pelé already dribbles like a dream. Extra passing impact, on the other hand, is excellent, and for a Creative Playmaker, it would have been excellent.
That said, this is still one of the best SS cards in the game. Speed, acceleration, balance, and shooting are all top-tier. If you missed the old one, this is a no-brainer. If you already own the previous version, I don’t really see this as an upgrade, just slightly different in playstyle and feel.
Suggested Skills: Long Range Shooting, One Touch Pass, Pinpoint Crossing, Fighting Spirit, Sole Control

Best pick from the Epic World Classics pack in eFootball 2026
There’s no denying that all three Epic picks from this pack are endgame picks. Just the numbers point to this story, and performances are even better. If you are looking to add any attacker, you just spill some coins here.
Now, do I consider this a 5/5 pack? Not really. Now, don’t blame me. I love the cards. But the current meta is just Through Ball spam from either CBs or Hole Player SS to your double Goal Poacher setup. Do these cards fit there? No.
So if you are ready to experiment from there, maybe ready to eat a few losses by trying to dribble, hold the ball, and enjoy these cards they are meant to be, please don’t miss out.
Here’s my final cards tier list and pack rating.
