The flow of Epic packs in eFootball 2026 doesn’t seem to slow down, and this time, KONAMI has turned its spotlight towards some Iconic Spanish League Midfielders. These cards have been popular in the game before, where they have managed to put up some effective gameplay to torment the defenders.
The two Blaugrana midfielders from this pack now possess two Show Time skills on the cards, making it a truly one to go for for Barcelona fans. The lineup features Andrés Iniesta, Yaya Touré, and Guti all getting different positions, skills, and playstyles.
eFootball 2026 Epic Spanish League Midfielders
Andrés Iniesta
- Position: CMF
- Playing Style: Hole Player
- Show Time Skill: Momentum Dribbling and Phenomenal Pass
Iniesta‘s cards are always a dream for fans of the Hole Player playstyle, who make these smooth runs ahead of the defence. Iniesta’s movement and on-the-ball quotient also feel smooth and silky with the Momentum Dribbling, along with his Phenomenal Pass to find teammates.
Despite some low stats in finishing, Iniesta shoots quite well to find the net. Although it does feel that the previously released Barcelona pack’s Iniesta had some better stats in finishing. The one thing that can be quite helpful is some additions to his Physical Contact and Kicking Power, which make him difficult to throw off the ball.
Yaya Toure
- Position: DMF
- Playing Style: Anchor Man
- Show Time Skill: Phenomenal Finishing
Probably the most desirable player in this pack, Touré is one of the most underrated DMFs in the game. With the current Toure in the Anchor Man playstyle, he is one of the go-to defenders in a single DMF formation.
The new Long-Reach Tackle Show Time skill is perfect for the DMF position that needs to stop counters in the origin. The large player build for Yaya is important as well, as it makes him a towering presence in the midfield. The final cherry on the pudding is the Phenomenal Pass, which can help him launch quick counters on the break.
This is a very important Show Time skill, as it gives Touré an edge against the likes of the Destroyer Vieira. In all, Touré can be a good mix of both physicality stats and build, and Long-Reach Tackle Show Time Skill (Vieira) with some attacking passing stats and Phenomenal Pass attributes (Busquets).
Guti
- Position: CMF
- Playing Style: Box-to-Box
- Show Time Skill: Visionary Pass
One of the underwhelming cards in the pack, Guti has only been popular among fans of the player and the club. This time, he gets a Box-to-Box playstyle, compared to his old versions of Creative Playmaker or Orchestrator.
What makes this ironic, though, is some low Physicality and defensive stats. Guti has been effective in AMF or orchestrator midfield positions, where his good dribbling can let him go past the midfield to launch great through passes that can find a forward.
But it is not in any way an end-game card, which can make a huge impact. Players such as Gerrard (Box-to-Box) from the 30th Anniversary Special and Scholes (Orchestrator) from the Legends Assemble free selection contracts are the perfect epitome of the best midfielders in the game.
Verdict on the eFootball 2026 Epic Spanish League Midfielders
In my opinion, the Spanish League Midfielders is a pack that could really benefit the players in need of a great DMF, as Yaya Touré is simply great. He can fulfil the need of a great defensive DMF who can launch good passes owing to the Show Time skill trait.
Iniesta can also be a great addition to the fans of the midfield maestro, who are missing this great run-making, smooth Iniesta card. Guti, on the other hand, is underwhelming and not good for Quick counter formations.
Overall, the pack’s value really depends on your squad’s needs for a great DMF, if you do not have the likes of Vieira, Pirlo, or Riijkkard. Alternatively, if you are a Barcelona fan, you can spend your coins on the new Iniesta card (if you don’t have one) and not be disappointed if you land on Touré.
