eFootball PES 2021: Understanding eFootball points, Breakdown, and FAQs

All you need to know about the new game currency

Datapack 3.0 has got us some interesting updates for PES 2021 recently, and KONAMI has raised the bar with a unique system for in-game currency. As a part of the eFootball League 2021 program conducted by the company, a new form of currency in the game called eFootball Points is introduced in PES 2021, starting from 7th December. Many players were surprised as well as confused regarding how would this system work in the first place. To clear doubts and help the fanbase, this article will explain the system in detail.

What are eFootball Points in PES 2021?

PES 2021 efootball points

eFootball Points is a form of in-game currency for the eFootball League 2021 Program, which will be available for a limited period of time. You can claim them by playing Preset and Custom matchdays and then redeem them for various in-game items and bonuses. However, these items will be available in the shop as a separate menu which includes Featured Players, Iconic Moments, Kits, and Tokens. Few points to remember are listed below:

  • You can’t carryover eFootball Points to the next season.
  • They have an expiry date, so they should be used before the date approaches.
  • Players who have selected the US as their region at the time of account creation, cannot make use of the eFootball Points as the campaign is not available for them.

Points Breakdown and Calculations

*Please note that there isn’t a fixed schedule of matchdays that will be active on PES 2021 in the coming days. The matches per matchday might be increased or can we cut down in number. In any such case, the below calculations will not stand correct. Hence it is advisable to follow these calculations just for your understanding and not to take it as the final say.

Schedule of Round 1

The points breakdown in case if you play all the Round 1 matchdays starting from 7th December to May 9th, 2021. As KONAMI has confirmed, in a total of 9 matchdays, there will be 4 such events that will yield you a maximum of 400 eFootball points each. Along with these, there will regular matchday events as well, so they will also give 200 eFootball Points.

As previously mentioned, there is a total of 9 Matchday events, so 9 weeks of online action. Two Preset and Custom matchdays each, so a total of 4 matches in one matchday. When you consider 9 Matchday events, the total matches will be 9×4=36. Each matchday will get you 400 eFootball points when completed. So total points in the case where you play every matchday will be 36×400.

The same goes for the Regular match day events, as they will also come with 200 points. There is a slight confusion regarding point distribution, but we will get to know it in the coming weeks. For instance, let us take the case where a maximum of 8 match events is given in a week, which would take the count of 8×200 points. For 9 such matchday events, the total would be 8x9x200.

*NoteWe do not have an exact pattern of regular matchdays, as in some weeks there might be 8 of them, and in some weeks it will vary from 4-6. So an exact count would not be possible.

While considering the above Round 1 Matchday, players can get close to 45000-50000 eFootball Points during the PES 2021 eFootball League schedule. However, this is not the end. We will also have Round 2 kicking off from Jan 11 and will be up to May 23, 2021. For Round 2 Qualification, all you have to do is to play the Preset Matchday and accumulate 2000 points. We have the points breakdown for the same as follows:

Round 2 Calculations

MATCHDAYPERIOD
Matchday 115/01/2021 – 17/01/2021

Matchday 807/05/2021 – 09/05/2021
Matchday 921/05/2021 – 23/05/2021
Schedule of Round 2

For every Round 2 qualification, you get 500 points. If a player qualifies for Round 2 in every matchday, that will be 9×500 as there are 9 Round 2 Matchdays in total.

Goals will get you the highest eFootball Points of all. Each goal gives you 500 points. If you manage to score a goal each in every match of Round 2, you will accumulate No of matches played x 500 points. For example, if you play all 15 matches and score 15 goals, you will get 15 x 500 = 7500 points for the particular matchday. Continue the same for the rest.

Wins and Ranking are completely random for a player as one might win 12 matches or just get 3 wins only. So, the calculation on this basis isn’t really accurate.

EVENT/CAMPAIGNNUMBER OF EVENTSPOINTSIN TOTAL

Ranking99×750 (Min)6750 *[2]
TOTAL  86000 (Min)

*Note:

[1] – We have considered that the player averages at least one goal per match. In case he qualifies for all rounds and plays 15 matches, this will be his count.

[2] – Ranking is random, and we have considered the example of a player who has finished between 50-1000 in each round.

Also in addition, users will have the opportunity to earn 300 eFootball Points if they watch livestreams of the Matchday Events, starting from December 12th.

Yes mate for the additional of 10k points from PC, Xbox or PS4, you are actually a bit late. It ended on 13th January. Only claiming the 5k additional is possible and that only from mobile login first time.
