Epic Games has marked the return of Henchman supply chests in Fortnite Season 7. They were added in Season 2 of Fortnite and also cropped up in Season 4, but now they are back once again alongside the IO agents. The supply chests coming as a replacement for the Bunker chests in Season 6 are still very important valuables for players who want the upper hand in the game. What are Henchman supply chests in Fortnite
These supply chests are large cases of valuable loot you can find around the map of Fortnite. In this season, the IO Agents are a key theme to these supply chests and can be found around the POIs (Point of Interest) containing high-tech weapons. You’ll find things like Rail guns, Pulse rifles, and Recon Scanners, alongside the usual shotguns and SMGs. Furthermore, these chests have a good chance of dropping rare weapons and even the legendary ones too if you are in luck.
They will look like large boxes with a standard “tech-y”, metallic texture, and will have a golden aura around the opening. It should be easy to spot, and the glow gives them away.
Where to find Henchman supply chests in Fortnite Season 7
These special supply crates can be found only at IO locations and will be guarded by IO guards since these contain such high-value loots. The map below from Fortnite shows all the locations and as you can see, there are quite a few around the outskirts of the map, where the satellite dishes are located. Since these locations are small, they are highly unlikely to be hot drops, and so they are a safe spot to drop in and get a full load-out of good quality weapons.
The more central locations are much more dangerous since they can be popular drops for other players, which means more competition. In addition, the IO guards patrolling around the chests can be a huge pain too, as they can very easily throw your position away. If you’re confident, though, this is a good place to drop in and have a quick early combat shoot-out too.
