The Herald is creating quite a menace in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4. She has some sinister plans for the entire island and will not stop until they are fully realized. The Chrome is becoming unstoppable and has even incapacitated The Seven. So far it seems that Herald is controlling Chrome.
The only way to stop the Herald is by defeating her in battle. The Herald’s appearance resembles that of a plant-humanoid species which closely resembles the Reality Tree as well. The Herald’s origins are not yet known completely. But according to Fortnite players, she is obsessed with Reality Zero. When the last season ended, in the season’s cinematic trailer The Herald was seen staring ominously into an orb that showed her the Reality Tree. Most interestingly, it also looks like the Herald is controlling the Chrome which is slowly engulfing the island. Whether she is truly in control will soon be revealed as the season continues to unfold.
How to find and beat the Herald in Fortnite
The Herald can be easily found on the map of Fortnite. Being the primary antagonist of the season she is brave enough to confront the Loopers. Players must be really up for the challenge if they want to defeat her. She reigns supreme over the Herald’s Sanctum where players can see her viewing the Reality Tree through an orb. Players will be able to locate her as they reach the Sanctum.
From the looks of it, The Herald won’t stop until she has spread the Chrome over the entire island. Players will face a huge challenge to take her down as she is protected by 600 health and 600 shields. The strategy to take down the Herald should be plain and simple. Players need to have full health, the best weapons, and some good allies in the form of teammates to fight against the Herald.
How to unlock the Herald skin in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4
To fully unlock the cosmetic set of the Herald skin players will have to go through a series of challenges. The four cosmetic items for the Herald which have been revealed are:
- Epitaph Edge – Harvesting Tool
- Fading Ember Cloak – Back Bling
- The Herald-Banner Icon
- The Herald’s Leer-Spray
The challenges will be available when the Herald skin unlocks in the game. The skin is currently locked and according to the in-game timer, it will most likely unlock within one and a half months.
