How to slide on ice for 30 meters in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1
However easy it may seem, sliding off the ice is not an easy task in the game. The sliding part is also challenging since you can’t always control which way you’re sliding. Although don’t worry since we have made things easier for you by providing all the information you need.
First and foremost players will have to head to the snowy part of the map in Fortnite where they will need to find ice in the places where the island has frozen over. Over there they will able to find a large frozen lake on the northwest part of the map. This place is perfect for sliding continuously for 30 meters. Players will be able to see a downward slope of ice leading onto the lake which makes this place a lot easier to slide.
In order to do the sliding players will have to run down the slope and then hit the crouch button. The crouching action can be performed by pressing the right thumbstick on a controller. After crouching down players shouldn’t press any other keys, all they need to do is to let their character powerslide down the ice and onto the lake.
There is no need to stop until players get the notification for completing the quest. It is possible that a player fails to complete the quest on the first attempt then they will have to keep trying until they are successful.
