Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 is all about surviving in the jungle, riding raptors, and whatnot. It is the complete polar opposite of the previous season which was much more modern and futuristic-themed. One of the new additions in the new season is the introduction of Temple Vaults. Players can find rare loot in these faults which they can get their hands on if they are willing to trade a worthy item for it. In this Fortnite guide, we are going to talk about the locations of the temple vault and how to find and open them.
Temple Vault locations in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 WILDS
Three new jungle POIs have been added to the game since the launch of the new season. Temple ruins can be found in all of these three locations with all of them having one temple each. These temples have secret vaults which can be opened only after the players offer a worthy item for trade. Here are the exact locations where players can find the temple ruins.
- Hidden Ruins: Situated in the northwest of Creeky Compound in a structure below a cliff.
- Northern Ruins: This one is located northwest of Shady Stilts.
- Rumble Ruins: This is located on the bottom floor of the large temple located at the POI.
How to open Temple Vaults in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 WILDS
Upon reaching either of the locations stated above, players will have to explore the temple ruins until they eventually come across a door that has a specific mechanism of only unlocking if the players can deliver or sacrifice a worthy item in return.
It might be a bit confusing for the players to know what might be a worthy enough item to sacrifice but there’s yet another mechanism to let the players know if the item is worthy or not. The door of the temple vault emits smoke with a bright hue that changes color according to the rarity of the item which needs to be sacrificed to open the door.
The color ranges from blue, purple, or white according to the rarity of the item. Now players might be wondering if is it worth it to sacrifice high-rarity weapons. It might not always be worth it as players might sacrifice a good weapon and not get a better weapon or at least of the same caliber they sacrificed.
So instead of giving up weapons of Epic, Legendary, and Mythic rarity which are much more difficult to come across, players should try to only sacrifice weapons of Rare rarity as they are much easier to come across. As sometimes it is not always the weapon a player wants but sacrificing it to the temple will at least give them an option of finding another weapon which means finding the weapon won’t at least go to waste.
