NPCs are an integral part of Fortnite’s battle royale map and we can see new NPCs come into the game with every new season. Most of them are pretty friendly and players can buy various weapons and items from them. Some of them even give out free items just by interacting with them once. But there are also NPC Bosses who start shooting the players at first sight of them and can be very hostile in general. Players can defeat these NPC Bosses and be rewarded with exclusive items. One of the new bosses on the map is Wildguard Relik and here’s how players can defeat him in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 WILDS.
Where to find the Wildguard Relik in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 WILDS
The new season of Fortnite is all about the jungle and that’s why it doesn’t come as a surprise as to why the new NPC boss can also be found at one of the new jungle POIs. Players will need to head to Rumble Ruins, which is situated on the southwestern side of the new jungle biome of the map in order to come across Wildguard Relik.
He can be found around the main building which is a large structure and is located at the eastern side of Rumble Ruins. Wildguard Relik can be seen looking over Rumble Ruins from the west side of the structure or sometimes he can also be seen entering the building and going out from the northern exit.
How to beat the Wildguard Relik in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 WILDS
Wildguard Relik is a tough NPC boss to fight against and if players are not prepared enough before going into battle with him, there is a huge chance of them getting eliminated from the match. Wildguard Relik has the ability to teleport to short distances like other NPC Bosses if he feels threatened. He can also use the Cloak Gauntlets to turn invisible which makes it very hard for the players to spot him.
The abilities of Wildguard Relik don’t end here as he can also throw Wildwasp Jars while he tries to hide from the players to deal damage to them. Wildwasp Jars can deal 8 damage per tick which makes it quite dangerous for the players. It’s very tough to run away from the wasps especially if one comes across a water body or mud as they will come to a half. Players can deal full damage to Wildguard Relik while he is invisible and while doing so it will also make his cloak disappear and reveal him in front of the players.
Loot to obtain from Wildguard Relik in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 Wilds
As with every NPC boss, Wildcard Relik drops exclusive loot too after being defeated and there is no other way to obtain it other than this way. Upon defeating him, players will be rewarded with the Mythic Wildguard Relik’s Cloak Gauntlets along with his Mythic MK-Alpha Assualt Rifle. Players will further get a few healing items along with Wildwasp Jars.
