Fortnite has introduced a ton of new content in their latest Chapter 4 Season 3 WILDS. Epic Games have released a whole new jungle biome which has quite a few POIs which are completely new and are filled with new wildlife and vegetation which can be very dangerous. One of the new additions to the wildlife in the game is Wildwasps which can be seen roaming around on the map of Fortnite Wilds. These are not just random creatures on the map as players can get a hold of them and use it in their favour. So here’s how players can come across Wildwasps in the game.
Where to find Wildwasps in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 WILDS
Wildwasps can be found exclusively in the jungle biome which means they’ll be available in all the new POIs which have been released such as Rumble Ruins and Creeky Compounds. They can also be found in the nearby locations of these POIs. Players can find them flying around all over these locations like at the nearby exteriors of the POIs but more inside them as Wildwasps are more attracted to the jungle plants, which are mostly present inside the POI.
Around the jungle plants, Wildwasps tend to become less aggressive and that is when they can be adult approached. The wasps start emitting a blue aura and gamers can collect them only then by clicking the “gather” option so that they can put the wasps inside the jar. This creates the Wildwasp Jar item which players can keep in their inventory.
Wildwasp Attacks in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 WILDS
Wildwasps emit a red aura when they are aggressive and it indicates that it is a bad time to approach them as they will attack anyone who will go near them. Throwing a Wildwasp Jar would immediately make them angry and will start attacking anyone in their radius. The NPC boss Wildguard Relik also throws Wildwasp Jars toward the players to damage them.
Wildwasp attacks don’t seem intimidating at first but players will need to escape from the attack as soon as possible because they will start losing health at a rapid speed of eight damage per tick. Players can use these Wildwasps to their advantage by equipping the reality augment called Wildwasp Weaponry in Chapter 4 Season 3 WILDS. This will let the players receive Wildwasp Jars right at the moment and will also receive Wildwasp Jars when they will eliminate an enemy.
How to get away from Wildwasps in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 WILDS
It’s quite easy to run away from a swarm of Wildwasps. Players can simply get away from them by going into a water body or by covering themselves in mud. Both of these are quite easy solutions as players can come across both of them pretty easily in the jungle biome and in the POIs it comprises of.
