Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 has already kicked off, with many new features and weapons along with skins making their way in the game. Forecast Towers will be one such addition of many other features and quests that this new season will bring along in the game. Forecast Towers will be essential in cooking up strategies in the battle royale as the Towers will allow the players to predict and get the routes of storms in the game, based on which players would be able to position them well and gain a flanking advantage over their enemies. Forecast Towers will allow players to position themselves better in the final circle
Storm circles pose a serious and often well-ignored threat to the survival of players in the game. In the earlier stages of the game, the intensity of the circles may not be as lethal and annoying to have a significant effect. However as the game progresses down the line and players keep getting funneled out, it becomes ever so lethal and could result in a tactical disadvantage for the players to land their victory royale.
Hence having an idea from which direction the storm circle is going to hit will definitely give tactical superiority to players over their enemies in the final circle and might even lead them to a victory royale. Forecast Towers will make this feature come in handy, as they will allow the players to have directions from which the storm circles will close in.
Where to find the Forecast Towers in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4
Forecast Towers however won’t be available from the get-go and will only appear minutes before the second storm will be en-route. The towers will spawn in every game on 4 locations, they will be featured on every player’s map. Following are the locations where players will be able to find these towers on the map-
- In the grassy green area on the map, South of Rumble Ruins and southeast of Shattered Slabs.
- Northeast of Mesa’s Reach and northwest of Fireglow Sanctuary
- In the yellow grassy area that overlooks Sunswoon Lagoon
- Icy Islets landmark
How to get the Access keys for the Forecast Towers in Fortnite
Keep a note in mind that access keys will be required for the players to access the Forecast Towers. Hence be sure to grab the keys before heading towards the Towers. All the efforts will turn fruitless if players aren’t able to retrieve the data which will require an access key in the tower. To obtain the access keys, players will have to take down two henchmen and The Dealer, the boss that guards the tower.
Keep an eye out for the masked man figure marker on the map as that indicates the location of these dealers on the map. Once defeated, The Dealer will drop a Legendary Twin Mag Assault Rifle and a Forecast Tower Access Card. Once the card is acquired players can then head out for the towers to get the information on the storm circles and have a tactical edge over their enemies in the game.
