Complete list of all Fortnite Chapters and Seasons
As of now, there have been four Chapters in total in Fortnite. Every chapter consists of various seasons, which are smaller updates in every chapter that last for a certain amount of time. These seasons bring with them new themes, challenges, map changes, new battle passes, and so on.

Duration of Fortnite Chapter 1
This is the first and the longest-ever chapter of Fortnite. It consisted of ten seasons and lasted for a total of almost two years.
- Season 1: October 26 – December 13, 2017
- Season 2: December 14, 2017 – February 21, 2018
- Season 3: February 22 – April 30, 2018
- Season 4: May 1 – July 12, 2018
- Season 5: July 12 – September 27, 2018
- Season 6: September 27 – December 5, 2018
- Season 7: December 6, 2018 – February 27, 2019
- Season 8: February 28 – May 8, 2019

Duration of Fortnite Chapter 2
The second chapter of Fortnite was comparatively smaller than Chapter 1 in terms of seasons. But it took almost the same time to finish as Chapter 1 which is nearly two years.

- Season 2: February 20 – June 16, 2020
- Season 3: June 17 – August 26, 2020

The third season was a lot shorter both in terms of number of seasons it has and its runtime. From a chapter running for almost two years, Chapter 3 almost cut down half of the time and ran for almost a year.

- Season 2: March 20, 2022 – June 4, 2022

Duration of Fortnite Chapter 4
The fourth chapter is going on right now the current Fortnite Season 4 launched just in the previous month. Though nothing is confirmed yet, various leaks point to the fact that this chapter might also end after going on for almost a year.
- Season 1: December 4, 2022 – March 10, 2023
- Season 2: March 10 – June 8, 2023
- Season 3: June 9 – August 25, 2023
- Season 4: August 25 – November 3, 2023
What chapter is Fortnite on right now
Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 has recently launched on August 25 and leaks claim that the end date of this season is on November 3, 2023. There are also leaks about an upcoming Fortnite x LEGO collaboration to take place in the fifth and final season of Chapter 4. It is believed that the last season will go on for just a month and after that, Chapter 5 of Fortnite will be released.
Nothing is confirmed as of yet and it might also happen that there will be no season 5 and Epic Games will directly launch the new chapter after the end of the current Fortnite season.
