Fortnite’s Winterfest event is going on in full swing. You can collect event-exclusive items such as the Snowball Launcher and Sneaky Snowmando. Along with these, you can also find Holiday Presents on the map along with the introduction of holiday special NPCs. Holiday Boxy and Leelah are some of these special NPCs already available on the map. Now another classic NPC has come back on Fortnite for Winterfest 2023 and it is none other than Sgt Winter, so here’s how you can find his location.
Where to find the Sgt Winter in Fortnite Winterfest 2023
Sgt Winter can only be found at a specific location in the whole map for Fortnite Winterfest 2023. You can find him on the holiday-themed island which can be found northeast of Classy Courts. It is known as Winterburg and it is situated at the outer age of the map on its northern side. It’s a small island that has a few houses and is mostly quiet and peaceful as it’s not a popular start location amongst players.
Sgt Winter can normally be found wandering around the icy pond which is located right in the middle of the Winterburg island. He can be found near the holiday tree beside this pond unless his path has been changed because of builds or fire from enemies. You’ll also find a lot of giant Holiday Presents scattered all around the place over here.
What does Sgt Winter do in Fortnite Winterfest 2023
Epic Games has decided to bring around several changes for this year’s Winterfest. Previously Sgt Winter was seen driving around the island, delivering presents to anyone he came across. But that is not the case anymore as he is stuck at one specific location now and you’ll need to reach him by yourself to interact with him.
You don’t need to worry while approaching him as he is a friendly NPC and a text bubble will appear will appear asking you if you’ve been naughty or nice this year. The answer will always be yes for everyone and he will then throw a Holiday Present towards you. It will either land near you or you’ll find yourself inside it—either way you’ll need to break its walls down using any harvesting tool. Inside the Holiday Present, you’ll find Epic rarity loot inside it along with some gold bars and ammo.
