Fortnite Winterfest 2023 could arrive in mid-December according to leaks

The holiday spirit is coming back!

Fortnite’s seasonal events are quite popular among its players. Just a few days ago, they had a successful run of their Halloween-themed event named Fortnitemares. Now Christmas is around the corner and now it’s time for their Winterfest event to arrive in the game. The Fortnite OG map didn’t have a snow biome in the beginning but it was later added as additional updates rolled now. The season is ending in December and since Christmas is closer than ever, they will most likely keep the snow biome on the map for now while they get ready for Winterfest 2023 in Fortnite as the leaks suggest.

Leaks suggest Winterfest 2023 could arrive along with the v28.01 update

According to ShiinaBR, who is a popular data leaker of Fortnite, Epic Games has already started testing their first-ever update for 2024 which is v28.10. They are going to release this update most likely in January after the employees get back from the company-wide holiday break. They are also working on v28.01 which will be released in the middle of December and will most likely also feature the Winterfest 2023 event in Fortnite.

If we are to take previous years’ trends into account, the Winterfest 2023 event is most likely coming on December 13, 2023, in Fortnite. This is because, for the past couple of years, Fortnite has allowed their players to claim gifts for 12 days straight till Christmas.

So if we were to calculate the first day keeping this trend in mind, the date is coming to be December 13, 2023. Just like the previous years, for this year you can expect to claim gifts like skins, gliders, harvesting tools, and so on along with a bunch of new content which will be a part of the Chapter 5 Season 1 update as well. Thus the month of December has a lot in store for you to look forward to.
