We also have an article on that, so make sure to check it out. But before that, note that Chelsea and Brighton would have a blank game-week, so try to ignore their players for this week.

FPL Gameweek 24 Differentials 2021/22

This upcoming week starts with 3 games on 1st matchday. Liverpool (DGW26), Manchester United (DGW25), Tottenham (DGW26), and Aston Villa have favorable fixtures ahead while Brighton and Chelsea have Blank GW24. Apart from this Crystal Palace and Burnley have DGW26 as well. So, our focus will be mainly on these teams while picking up options for Differential.

1. Andrew Robertson (Defender) – 7.1 million

Liverpool fullbacks are an obvious choice in fantasy teams. However, Trent has been the more popular choice of fantasy managers so far. His fullback partner, the Scottsman Robertson, has only 4.5% ownership. For a player who has had two consecutive double-digit hauls in the past 2 game-weeks, this low ownership seems kind of undermining. This is the reason why he might be a great differential choice, especially as an alternative to Trent in the defense.

Robertson is ranked 2nd in the Creativity index among defenders, and 3rd in the overall ICT index among the defenders. His 8 assists and a goal this season are enhanced with a 0.24 xA per 90 and 0.32 xG+xA per 90. Besides, his 3.62 shot-creating actions per 90 and 3.5 crosses per 90, make him a differential choice worth considering at the moment, since he is the most in-form player (11.5) in the game.

2. Kieran Trippier (Defender) – 5.0 million

Certainly one of the hottest prospects in the premier league is Kieran Trippier after his move to Premier League side Newcastle. Right after the move, Trippier has guaranteed himself a starting spot and comes at an affordable cost of 5 million, offering assist threats as a side back. According to the Premier League website, he has been selected by a mere 0.6% of overall teams playing the FPL game, making him a great pick for the differential spot. The Magpies had a tremendous transfer window, bolstering every department of their team to fight and win the relegation battle.

The recent takeover of ownership is certainly playing its part in the transfer window as evident in the last winter window. Trippier had two full ninety-minute performances in the league so far, with 9 points accumulated delivering 3 crosses and 0.1 xA in the last 2 gameweeks. His budget-friendly cost and corner duty give the opportunity to take in a potential differential and a big gun for the long race.

3. Maxwel Cornet (Midfielder) – 5.9 million

The player from Ivory Coast returns to Premier League action this gameweek to represent the Clarets after his international duty from AFCON21. Cornet is rated as 5.9 million, and Burnley is currently positioned at the bottom of the table, but the factor that plays a key role in making Cornet a differential is the number of matches Burnley has in hand. They are yet to play the likes of Spurs, Villa, Leicester, Everton, and Watford and are hence favorites to have double or even triple gameweeks ahead. Cornet has registered a tally of 50 FPL points so far registering double-digit hauls twice this season!

Despite being 10 matches played in the premier league, he has scored 6 goals out of an xG of 2.0, all of which are accumulated in a non-penalty manner. He also has managed to pull 3.3 touches per 90 in the opposition’s penalty box with a 0.5 xA stat and is certainly someone the Claret fans will look forward to the next weeks. His 3.16 progressive passes per 90 and 4.44 progressive carries per 90 are impressive stats that might encourage you to choose him as a potential differential option and thereby boost your rank spending very little.

4. Jacob Ramsey (Midfielder) – 4.6 million

Aston Villa host relegation battlers Leeds at Villa Park this game week. The gush of fresh air that arrived with the arrival of PL Hall of Famer Steven Gerrard has been even bolstered with the January transfer window with the likes of Digne, Coutinho, Olsen, and Callum Chambers. The ambition displayed by the management to back Steven Gerrard certainly proves that Villa is looking to go all out and secure a European spot and for that, they need goal scorers like Jacob Ramsey to display their full potential.

Certainly, Jacob Ramsey can be the one to fit in our tight budget and give you a differential to rank higher than rivals.

5. Michael Olise (Midfielder) – 5.4 million

The Palace Frenchman has accumulated 16 FPL points accumulated in the past 3 gameweeks. Though one of those weeks included a tough fixture against Liverpool. The Eagles next play a struggling Norwich side with DGW26 and hence their assets could be worth it. Olise, owned by only 0.2% of fantasy managers, has 2 goals and 3 assists so far this season. Besides, he has a 0.54 non-penalty xG+ xA and almost 4 touches inside the box every 90 minutes so far this season.
