While Man City enjoying its smooth road and Brentford just landed on its favorable fixture, Leicester and Newcastle will try to gather up some crucial points from comparatively suitable fixtures to set their position on the league table. Therefore, our exclusive watchlist is based on these facts and keeping eye on the upcoming fixtures.

1. Benjamin Chilwell (Defender) – 5.7 million

After starting at gameweek 7 Ben Chilwell has proved his worth and registered his name on the teamsheet. He has played full-time in both the match and bagged a total of 23 FPL points scoring 2 goals and keeping 1 clean sheet. However, he is not expected to score as he did in his last 2 games. Being a defender he has an expected goals figure of 0.26 xG and 0.21 xA expected assist figure and has an average of 4.50 touches in the opposition’s box. During his game time, he has created 3 big chances and took 5 shots in the box.

Chelsea’s smooth road started 2 weeks back will continue for 3 more weeks therefore, it’s high time to consider a defender from this team. Additionally, Chilwell has partial corner duty which adds value to his tally and enhances the chances of providing the assists. Ben Chilwell is less likely to come off the bench than Reece James therefore, Chilwell more obvious pick over James.

2. Ilkay Gündogan (Midfielder) – 7.2 million

Man City‘s favorable fixture has just begun and Gundogan is fit for the match as well. As he was just returned from injury he has not started the match against Burnley but he was on the bench and he is expected to get his game time in upcoming game weeks.

The German suddenly caught the eyes of the FPL managers last season and kept his form at the high line this season also. In his past 5 gameweeks (the season) he has fired 8 shots in the box and gathered a total of 19 FPL points scoring 1 goal. He has created 10 good chances with an expected assist figure of 0.30 xA and his expected goals figure is 0.29 xG. De Bruyne might look like a better option from Man City midfielders but when we look at the price, Gundogan is the one with value for money.

3. Harry Kane (Forward) – 12.1 million

Harry Kane got off the mark with his first premier goal of the season as Spurs held on to a 3-2 win over Newcastle. The England captain later reminded us of his telepathic understanding with Son when he picked out the south Korean for tapping at the back post. No forward could better Kane’s 0.65 expected assist figure during the gameweek and he completed 12 of his 13 passes in the final third.

Over the last four gameweeks, he ranks joint top with Raul Jimenez for big chance involvements among forwards with five. Meanwhile, his tally of 15 shots ranks joint top with Vardy and Ronaldo and only the Leicester talisman can equal Kane 7 efforts on target.

Spurs face West Ham, Man United, and Everton up next which are by no means terrible fixtures but it’s their run from the game with 12 onwards that is particularly appealing home ties with Leeds, Brentford, and Norwich over a four-match spell make a very strong case for moving Lukaku onto Kane at that point in time.

4. Callum Wilson (Forward) – 7.3 million

The defeat to Spurs saw Newcastle welcome back Callum Wilson after a four-match absence and it didn’t take him long to return to the scoresheet. The Englishman received his side’s only big chance of the game when he opened the scoring after less than two minutes. He went on to equal Harry Kane with six touches in the opposition’s box during the match and only Ndombele managed more before sustaining his injury.

Wilson made a bright start to the season with two goals in the opening three-gameweeks only Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Michail Antonio could better his three big chances or his 1.71 xG in that time among forwards. The mood has been lifted at St. James’s Park following the recent takeover ahead of some favorable fixtures. They face just one top-four side in the next seven gameweeks with home ties against Brentford, Norwich and, Burnley, as well as away, trips to Crystal Palace and Brighton.

5. Kelechi Iheanacho (Forward) – 7.0 million

Whilst the continued form of Jamie Vardy shouldn’t go unnoticed his strike partner Kelechi Iheanacho was quietly impressed with returns in three consecutive game weeks. He matched Vardy with three shots during the 4-2 win over Man United on Saturday and beat him seven to five for touches in the opposition’s box. Having worked his way back into the starting lineup Iheanacho has scored and assisted in the last two gameweeks to earn 14 FPL points compared to Vardy’s 16.

Though he trails 6-4 for shots the pair have each recorded one big chance in that time but it’s his form in the second half of last season that underlines his potential. He bagged the 11 goals and two assists between gameweek’s 26 and 38 to earn a league-high 92 points in that time 7.1 FPL points per game on average. Chelsea is the only top-four side to face the foxes over the next eight-game weeks which include ties with Leeds, Watford and, Newcastle.
