Genshin Impact: Best Team Compositions for Raiden Shogun and Tips

Raiden Shogun is a 5-star polearm wielder in Genshin Impact. It’s her 3rd rerun in Version 3.3. Raiden’s ability to quickly apply electro to opponents and act as a battery to the team can be great for many team compositions. Raiden has synergy with strong supports who often appear as the consistent backbone of the team compositions. Best Team Compositions for Raiden Shogun in Genshin Impact

1. Raiden National Team

Raiden National team is the best team for stable damage output and is extremely F2P friendly. The pyro resonance help increase more damage output. There is high single target and AoE damage. It has circular energy and each party member gets benefits from one another. Additionally, Elemental versatility players don’t run into shield-breaking problems.

This team takes some of the most important four-star units from the challenge leaving the 2nd team short of options. It requires strict rotations which may be complicated in some scenarios.

2. Raiden Eula Team

This is a very high-damage output team especially used for nuking/showcasing purposes. Cyro Resonance helps increase Crit rate followed by the addition of more Crit rate due to Rosaria’s passive. Zhongli’s shield provides good shielding and shredding to opponents. Superconduct reduces enemy RES by 40% hence spiking up physical damage.

However, this team is not very F2P friendly as it contains 3 limited 5-star characters. Players may run into shield-breaking issues due to a lack of elemental versatility. No healer in the team makes it prone to corrosion as the shield doesn’t protect the character from Corrosion.

3. Raiden Hyperbloom Team

This is the best team for Elemental reaction. There’s good team versatility which makes shield-breaking easier. Due to Hyperbloom reactions poise breaks easily and enemies are unable to even move and also has very wide AoE damage.

All the characters are limited 5 stars characters making it hard to afford for all players. Hyperbloom and bloom also damage the active character so there’s always a slim chance that your character may fall while battling.

4. Raiden Shogun Thunder Team  

This team is based around buffing Raiden and debuffing enemies. It has a large AoE range and damage. There’s a High electro application as Raiden and Kujou Sara has good synergy when combined with Kazuha’s debuff to opponents and Bennett’s ATK buff and you’ll get a recipe for wiping out everything. 

However, the thunder team has very low single-target damage and the team requires strict rotations.
