Genshin Impact is an adventure RPG game released by MiHoYo in 2020. In just a short time the game has become one of the most successful actions RPG titles ever to have been released in multiple titles. Geo Traveler: Playstyle and skillset
The Traveler is a versatile character who can align with different elements and in the geo form is very good support for Geo main DPS. His ability to battery and provide Crit bonus makes him an invaluable asset in geo teams.

Geo Traveler’s Passive
- 1st Ascension Passive: Reduces Starfell Sword’s CD by 2s.
- 4th Ascension Passive: The final hit of a Normal Attack combo triggers a collapse, dealing 60% of ATK as AoE Geo DMG.
Geo Traveler’s Constellations
The best part of using the main character is that players have access to all their constellations. To activate a constellation players require a Memory of Immovable Crystals. The memory of Immovable Crystals are obtained as follows :

Support
- 4 pc Noblesse Oblige: The staple artifact for support characters, this set is only recommended for Geo MC if playing in a quick swap team where the sole purpose of the character is to provide crit buff with burst. Using 4 pc Noblesse would augment Geo MC’s burst damage and provide an ATK boost to all team members.
- 2 pc Archaic Petra and 2 pc Noblesse Oblige : A balanced combination, Archaic Petra and Noblesse Oblige provide buffs to Geo MC that can be useful for both Main DPS and Support roles.

The high skill damage output paired with crit rate buff make Geo MC an enviable support character. While Geo MC also can do a good amount of damage with his normal attack he is more suited as a burst support character.

Best weapons for Geo Traveler in Genshin Impact
For support Geo MC Primordial Jade Cutter, Mistspitter Reforged and Summit Shaper are the best 5-star options. Among the 4 stars, Festering Desire and Amenoma Kageuchi are the best options. At refinement 5 the three-star weapon, Harbinger of Dawn also provides high value but it requires the characters’ HP to be above 90% to optimize the damage.
For the main DPS Mistsplitter Reforged, Summit Shaper is the best 5-star option. Among 4 stars Blackcliff Longsword and The Flute are both good options.
Best Team Comps
Geo MC pairs well with almost all Geo characters in the game giving them Crit Rate buff and acting as a battery as well as activating Geo resonance. Zhongli, Ningguang, Albedo, and Noelle all benefit from having Geo MC in their team. Newly introduced, Arataki Itto also can utilize buffs from Geo MC along with the elemental particles that Geo MC generates as Itto is an energy-hungry character.
