- Near the Statue of the Seven at Windrise
- Under trees in the wild
- In Stormterror’s Lair
Windwheel Asters have mostly concentrated in Stormterror’s Lair and more or less all of them are near teleporters, so easily farm-able. But you can find a lot of them near Statues of the Seven at Windrise and near Dawn Winery. So, just teleport there once during your daily farming route and collect them and you will have a bunch of them in no time. In upcoming patches new characters or weapons may require them for their ascension, So it’s not a bad idea to farm for them if you can.
How is Windwheel Aster useful in Genshin Impact?
Bennett, Sucrose, Traveler (Anemo), and Traveler(Geo) are the only characters that need Windwheel Aster for ascension. They need 168 Windwheel Aster for their ascension to the max level which is level 90.
None of the available weapons use Windwheel Aster for ascensions.
Like most of the local specialty in the game, farmable-Windwheel Aster also has a respawn time of 2 days and this timer applies to all Windwheel Aster available in Mondstadt. Windwheel Asters are also required to craft the Wind Catcher and you need 30 Windwheel Asters for it. If there is a windy environment in the game then these flowers will actually spin like windwheels.
Where to buy Windwheel Aster from?
These flowers are exclusive to Floral Whisper which is Flora’s shop in Mondstadt City. Her shop items reset every 3 days. So, If you don’t want to farm them, best to buy them every three days but farming is better and it saves Mora. Each flower costs 1k Mora and for 5 flowers that amount to 5k it may seem not much but upgrading character talents and artifact upgrading will dry your Mora reserves very easily.
