It is a plump and translucent berry that has a fragrant smell and a sweet refreshing taste. Which characters in Genshin Impact need Valberry?
Lisa, Noelle, and Rosaria are the only characters that need Valberry for ascension. They need 168 Valberry for their ascension to the max level which is level 90. Rosaria is arriving on the 1.4 patch with Childe’s banner, so it’s best if you start to farm for Valberry as soon as possible, so you have to only worry about other materials. None of the available weapons use Valberry for ascensions. Like most of the farmable materials in the game, farmable-Valberry also has a respawn time of 2 days and this timer applies to all Valberry available in Mondstadt.
Where can you find Valberry in Genshin Impact?
Chloris is a NPC that can be found in Mondstadt’s Windrise area. She sells five different flowers which are Snapdragon, Mint, Wolfhook, Valberry, Philanemo Mushroom. You can not find her at the night or in the evening, so make sure to visit her on day-time only. These flowers are exclusive to Chloris’s shop and can not be found in Floral Whisper which is Mondstadt’s flower shop. Her shop items reset every 3 days. So, If you don’t want to farm them, best to buy them every three days but farming is better and not much of a hassle, unlike Violetgrass which is very tiresome to find and farm.
Each flower costs 1000 Mora and for 5 flowers that amounts to 5000. It may seem not much but upgrading character talents and artifact upgrading will dry your Mora reserves very easily, farming these require hardly five-minutes to ten-minutes anyway.
Farming Locations for Valberry
Valberry’s plants are scattered all over Stormbearer Mountains and Stormbearer Point, they are out in the open and can be identified easily. Most of them are near the teleporters and each plant gives four Valberries for the players.
