Into The Woods is an all-new World Quest that arrived with the Sumeru 3.0 update in Genshin Impact. This quest is a part of the Woodland Encounter: Aranyaka Quest line and is the second quest in that series which you will need to complete before you can proceed with the third quest. In the Aranyaka Quest Line, you will mainly assist Rana, a forest Watcher who is in charge of safekeeping of the forest, in her efforts to help the Vimara village.
How to unlock and start Into The Woods quest in Genshin Impact
You will need to first clear The Children of Vimara Village world quest in order to unlock this one. Follow the below guidelines to start and finish the quest- Into The Woods:
- After the end of the previous quest The Children of Vimara Village, you will unlock the new quest with a waypoint.
- Head over to the marked waypoint and you will come across another Withering Zone, which you will need to clear in order to continue the quest.
How to clear the Withering Zone in Into the Woods quest
Withering Zones are dangerous anomalies that kill every living organism in its surroundings. These zones will usually have three Withering Branches that corrupt the place with their ominous energy. In order to purify the zone, you will need to destroy them with the help of Dendrograna.
Summon a Dendrograna from a nearby Dendrogranum and use your charged attacks to destroy the Withering Branches. The best way is to use a Bow for this since you won’t get inflicted by more stacks of decay from the Dreadful Withering. Each Dendrogranum will give you three charges which can be replenished by doing the summoning once again.
Finally, destroy the Tumor of Withering to clear the area. Continue forward to find the next Withering Zone and do the same.
After that head over to the area where Spinocrocodiles are located. You will need to defeat 6-8 numbers of Spinocrocodiles and then make your way to the camp. Next, collect three pieces of firewood which are located on the South side of the campsite.
Use a Pyro character to light the fireplace and have a conversation with Rana about her circumstances. Skip to the next day with the help of the clock. This will be the end of the current quest and unlock the next quest in the Aranyaka Quest Line- The Lost Child.

Successfully completing the world quest will reward you with the following:
- Adventure Experience x 400
- Primogems x 50
- Hero’s Wit x 4
- Mora x 40,000
- Mystic Enhancement Ore x 4
